Villareal have yet to win a game and aren't playing well so I feel the time is just right for us to lose this game. Everytime we face a struggling team we end up being the improbable win. I hope it doesnt happen because we really need the W.

If James and Bale hadn't missed 10 chances in the first half, we crush them... hence my hope that Jovic plays with Benz.

I really can't complain about our style of play to start the season. Finishing has been shit is all other than Benz.

As sports wrote, our finishing in that game was just terrible but we out played Valladolid (as we fking should). Really hoping we put proper distance between us and Barcelona with their dropped points. Not too worried about whatever Atletico does, the 1-0 life would eventually catch up to them.

The Lope Restoration Project is a bit of a worry though.

I actually get Lucas starting this one. Bale, Jovic and Benz aren't going to defend so you need everyone else to be as solid defensively as possible.

Interesting that Modric is benched. Is he getting sold?

Kroos and Casemiro have both been solid.  Marcelo, Carvajal, Modric and Vini... not so much. If Odriozola didn't look actually worse than Carvajal, he would play imo.

Solid line up. I get starting Lucas. With 2 strikers we need two out and out winger. Vinicious unfortunately does not cut it on the right. Hoping Atletico drop points tonight. That would hopefully put us top of the league by the end of tonight

As of now Barca and Sevilla dropped points and Atletuco are close. A win would put us on level points for first which would be great considering our circumstances.

Add the fact that everyone other than Asensio will be back after the break... season will truly start

Casemiro awful on the ball as usual, no touch and turn into space. Llorente would be perfect for a double pivot in a 4-4-2..
