I wouldn't expect a Barca fan to think that way with all the success in that competition, but one player should not be able to win the entire competition by himself. Nor should he be judged for lack of winning it. You need 11 capable men to win that, not just 1.

Ibrahimovic is the most complete striker I've watched. His consistent league winning streak, countless goals, and highlight reel plays show that.

If you watch him play (which Im going to assume you dont) you'll see that he is the very reason PSG are so potent right now. His movement not only draws defenders his way, but he is also creative enough to utilize that space. He has been a consistent goalscorer since his inter days if not before....and the way he looks to set his team up with assists shows too. He makes the entire team better.

Overrated is a terrible choice of words.

In the past few years he's done well in the CL. Are you still living on his inter days where he took cortisone shots to play?

In fairness every single time i watched him in CL KO stages, the entire team was focused on him and his team mates never at any stage stepped up.

This isn't an excuse or anything, it's a fact of what occured and the fact people judge him on being a CF because he's 6 foot good knows what and built like a beast when the reality is in most games he plays more like a 10.

Now i do expect his PSG team mates to step up when that happens, but the sad reality is even if they do there is at least two teams that should beat them even on a good night and that wouldn't be his fault.

Well it's a no brainer that his walking habit on the pitch was the worst I have seen from a top player, not even CR and messi plays as lazy as he was when Ibra was at his prime.

He actually improved his work rate under blanc though but too late I guess.

I agree with mole. In the games I've watch of him "flopping" he had the two cbs and the defensive midfielder on him that's not fair at all

One thing to keep in mind... ibra plays very very lazy. He barely moves now. It's fine at PSG since they're a high possession team who play a high line. But in a system where he actually needs to cover the minimum typical real estate for a cf, he's going to be a problem imo

And at PSG, he genuinely flopped in the ties they got eliminated for the most part:
-  he missed big chances and got red carded in the first leg when Chelsea beat them.
-  he was trying too hard against Barca.  His slow style was a negative because it gave Barca time to swarm him as he took too long on the ball.
-  Against Madrid, he missed some big chances.  He was lucky that Cavani choked worse.

This season, he has been great in CL other than the Madrid games.  The City tie will be a stage for him to show his stuff.

Let's not pretend that he didn't have a great supporting cast at PSG around him because he did.

You lost to Barca lol even if he did perform it wouldn't of made a slight bit of difference, as for Chelsea that was Cavani's fault for missing chances that Newcastle players would score lol.

Right now the highest earner (in the league I believe) is Higuain at 5.5m

He did not get a red card when they lost to Chelsea, he pulled the hamstring in the first leg. He missed the second leg (which they lost 0-2). He also scored or assisted all three goals against Barca in the QF the first year at psg. Last year against Barca the tie was already over after the first leg which he missed.

I kinda hope he doesn't have a new club yet, but goes to the Euros trying to impress. Zlatan at the Euros playing to impress to get a top contract would be great for the tournament.

Also hoping he stays in Europe or retires, he's too good for anything else.
