PSG considers Wenger as Arsenal pursues Allegri

PSG is looking to Wenger, who could leave Arsenal, as a potential substitute for Emery. If a deal were to be completed, then Arsenal would try to acquire Massimiliano Allegri. However, Juventus is certain that they want Allegri to continue his managerial career in Turin. Allegri and Juventus will soon meet, but the completion of any deal will have to wait until the end of the season.

We really need Monaco to win Ligue 1 to have a chance of this happening. That means at least being part of one title race this season.

No mater who wins what, Wenger will stay at Arsenal. Any other team would fire him in first 6 months.

You better hope Allegri wins the Champions League as knowing him he will strike when the iron is hot to leave from that opportunity alone given his he restless at Juve.

Best chance comes from that.

I'm not all that impressed by Tuchel.

Jardim is a great call.

Shows you don't watch Ligue 1 at all...  Monaco was the best defensive team in Europe 2 years ago.  They conceded only 26 goals in Ligue 1...  only 1 goal in 6 games in CL pool play...  1 goal in the round they won against Arsenal in first elimination round... and only 1 goal to Juve in the two games in that round (but managed to score none).

He just coaches the team to the best ability of his players.  Back then, the strength was defense as they had very little in terms of attacking players.  It was unwatchable lol.  Prime Mourinho tactics.

He switched to an attacking style when the team's strength shifted to that side.

Jardim, at least, proved a few years ago that he can build a team with a solid defence. We found that out first hand. Laughing Granted, I think his current approach does leave Monaco a little exposed against the really top sides in the CL. They've shipped goals in every round.

Generally though, I like Jardim more than Tuchel. Tuchel's Dortmund this year has been flimsy and not all that impressive offensively either.

There are some internal issues between Tuchel and the Dortmund management. No contract has been offered and the BVB CEO didn't rule anything out when asked about Tuchel's future.

He seems like a difficult person to work with tbh.

He is. The club is basically leaving him out to dry after some pretty careless comments he made about Watzke basically not having the team's best interests at heart. He's also fallen out with their chief scout.

Dortmund board have basically run over Tuchel with an armada of mega-size trucks in the press in recent days. He's definitively leaving.

Considering those clowns sold their 3 core players in summer and still publicly demanded direct CL quali from Tuchel, with a bunch of 17-19 year old newbies + Castro and Rode, I'd say they might have shot themselves in the foot.

Tuchel seems to be somewhat of a psycho but he sure is a great coach.

Let's see how David Wagner does instead.
