Re: Next Manager thread
I'll repeat, Simeone 4 Successor.
(I'm not even sure how serious I am, but right now a dose of his management style is exactly what Arsenal could use.)

Re: Next Manager thread
I feel dirty even just thinking about the possibility of Mourinho as Arsenal manager. He'd win us the league in the 2nd season but just leave us in a mess in the middle of his third, anyway.

Tempting but i'd prefer someone who has managed in England before and someone who has managed a big club.

Re: Next Manager thread
Jorge Sampaoli would be fun if he got Arsenal playing like prime-Chile. Not sure it would be sustainable though.

Re: Next Manager thread
Best choice obviously would be Tuchel but you can't have him.
He needs to join us as the next station.

Re: Next Manager thread
Wenger‘If I am not (good enough) somebody will tell me. There is no coincidence that the people who own the club tell me to be here for 19 years. Do you think they are more stupid than you or me?’
He is not leaving...I can see him extending his contract this summer...we are stuck with him forever.
Wenger‘Look I have worked here for 19, 20 years and I’m always sitting here having to justify that I’m good enough to do the job.
‘I have no problem to cope with everything but I find that a bit boring in the end.
'I always have to convince you that I am good enough. I have worked for 35 years at the top level.’
‘I cannot influence the behaviour of the fans. How can I do that? You (the media) are the guys who speak to the fans.
'It’s not me. I am not on Twitter. I don’t invite anybody to go out to dinner and be nice with them.
‘I work and work and work and work. If it’s not good enough, someone will tell me one day. That’s all I can do. I do not worry about what you say about me or what fans say about me.
‘I try to do my job in a proper way and with full commitment.
'After that everybody has the right to have an opinion.
'You do not make a decision if I continue my job or not.
‘What I find just boring is always sitting here after 19 years to face, “Do you think you are good enough?”.
'I don’t know. I am humble enough every day to question myself, to accept my mistakes, and believe me I do that.
‘If I am not (good enough) somebody will tell me. There is no coincidence that the people who own the club tell me to be here for 19 years. Do you think they are more stupid than you or me?’
How arrogant is Wenger?
12 years without a major trophy...no progress and now a team from championship is going walk away from the league and this guy thinks he is great coach still?
15 years ago only Untied was his competition and now every team is a competition for Arsenal.

Corriere dello Sport positing Mancini as a successor?
http://www.corrieredellosport.it/news/calcio/calcio-mercato/2016/03/22-9721671/calciomercato_arsenal_su_mancini_ma_linter_fa_muro/
This Eurosport article runs through some options too.
http://www.eurosport.co.uk/football/premier-league/2015-2016/roberto-mancini-and-jose-mourinho-linked-.-but-who-could-really-replace-arsene-wenger-at-arsenal_sto5344612/story.shtml
Of the names mentioned, I would not be opposed at this time to the prospect of Koeman or Löw.
Also I kind of like the idea of Paulo Sousa, unmentioned in the above article, who I think someone mentioned somewhere in another thread.
