Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
Beppe Marotta confirmed Juventus “will try to keep Juan Cuadrado and have a verbal agreement with Chelsea.”
The winger arrived on loan over the summer and has been increasingly pushed to the bench in recent games.
“He is on loan. In tactical terms he is very different to the other players, so it’s only normal he suits us,” director general Marotta told Rai Sport.
“There is a verbal agreement for an option to buy from Chelsea, so we’ll see what happens.
“We are happy with what he’s doing both on and off the field, so certainly he is someone we’ll try to keep in Turin next season too.”

If i recall,he had a great game against Genoa in the reverse fixture as well, but yes, over the past few games he's definitely improved and doing things what is expected of him.
Actually i have no complaints for how much game time he's getting atm.For me,i'm not that convinced he'll be a permanent starter for Juventus going forward but definitely an excellent sub/rotational player to have.

I don't want him as a starter yet either. I think he is the perfect wildcard for this team

The bigger question is is he worth the 20-25m or not? And would we use those money for another player or no.

I believe we have an option to buy him for €20m.
I don't know another player for which we could use the money on but what I can tell is Cuadrado has proved to be an excellent rotational option.
At first, I was against buying him but he's proving to be a very valuable sub or a wildcard as Rincon calls it.We have very few players who can take on their man and he's one of them.

For 20 I'm in. His quality is hard to find for that price and he doesn't seem to mind his role. That is, unless we have bigger plans for that money this summer, which I doubt.

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
Why the hell are you overacting about his price set at 20 mln?
We got Zaza for 18 mln ffs...so far Cuadrado has shown to be worth that money if not more. You know the prices these days...

I think a deal will be done with Chelsea. Even if its not the original named price.
He seems to fit in a Juve and we don't want nor need him back.

Marotta & Paratici are happy with the performance of Cuadrado, they've a verbal agreement with Chelsea at €20m buy-option. [FabrizioRomano]
Juventus want to keep Cuadrado & they'll present an offer of €14-15m (to be paid over several years) in the coming weeks. [FabrizioRomano]
Cuadrado's willingness will be decisive & the player is happy in Turin, according to Romano.

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
players like Cuadrado are 30 m worth these days
taking him for 20 million is not bad
best would be to take Messi on free transfer

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
MOTM by a mile today. He's just the perfect weapon to have vs PTB teams.Yes,he can definitely be incredibly frustrating at times but man he knows how to break the deadlock when you have teams defending for their lives.
For me,he's still not shown how good he can be when crossing the ball.At Fio,he was one of the best crossers in the league.I'm happy his end product is getting better the more he plays.

Juventus negotiating with Chelsea to sign Cuadrado on loan for €2m with an obligation to buy at €22m. Juan wants to stay at Juve. [Sky]
Cuadrado is pushing for the success of the negotiations. Chelsea wants more. [Sky]

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
Hopefully. It would've been a big blow to lose both Morata and Cuadrado in one window.
Guess this means Licht might leave. 3 players on the right perhaps might be overkill.

Re: Juan Cuadrado #7
if we keep CUADRADO I think we will have no problems
we can play 4-3-3 formation
DYBALA, MANDZUKIC, CUADRADO forwards
POGBA, PJANIC, STURARO in center midfield
so everything is fine

exactly
I believe both MORATA and CUADRADO have add too much of SPEED / STAMINA to the team
without both of them it will be extreme different
I wish we keep CUADRADO

He's ready to reject Conte and million at Chelsea and pressing to join US because he loved it here and wants to return to the 'family', Milan is no danger to us.
