Arsenal Vs Newcastle
Emirates Stadium
2/1/16: 15:00 BSt
First match of 2016 against a struggling side. But Newcastle tend to up their game against big teams. We will be a bit fatigued so not expecting a great performance. However we need to win this as there is a possibility City may drop points. As we found out recently, our away fixtures are horrible till May. So we have to make sure to get as many points as possible at home.
Joel and Monreal will be starting again as they were rested. I'd keep Chambers in midfield. Heard Ramsey might be 50-50 so that's a genuine concern. Possible we might see Oxlade in CM lol.
----------------------Cech-------------------------
Bellerin-------Mertesacker--Koscielny------Monreal
---------Ramsey-----------Chambers------------
Joel----------------Ozil----------------Walcott
--------------Giroud--------------------------

Genuinely can't wait to make Chambers look like prime Verratti.

Indeed. The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
Is Özil ever going to be rested? You know he'll be injured at the end of January again?

Re: Arsenal Vs Newcastle
Funny you should say that, because Wenger just said he rests him during training and doesn't have him train before games atm.
Sadly we have little choice but to play Ozil every game due to lack of options. There's a chance he might get a breather against Sunderland in the FA Cup next week, though.

Newcastle have been playing well as of late and I can see them being up for it and get a point.

Re: Arsenal Vs Newcastle
Newcastle could be at the bottom on the championship and we'd probably still find a way to cock it up
Fourth game in 12 days. May the fourth be with us.

Re: Arsenal Vs Newcastle
Theo should never get involved in the build up, don't touch the ball. He ruins too many attacking moves with his poor decision making and brain farts. Arsene has to put him on the right

Re: Arsenal Vs Newcastle
that midfield two of Ramsey and Flamini are tactically inept that its really annoying to watch. They don't know when to press and when to sit. There was no midfield at all in that first half. and how can you play so deep against Newcastle and let them have the ball ? where is the pressing ?.

Ox, Theo and Ramsey should never start all together in the line up. Too many impulsive players, decision making is not their forte especially Theo he has ruined almost all our attacks.

You know it had to be Koscielny. He was the only one driving us forward in the last few minutes.
