With the way Van Gaal wants United to play, they need runners to create more verticality and they need players who are unpredictable and can take players on. I don't really see many of those players in United's squad. Herrera and Martial are possibly the only two, and one's injured and the other is only 19. Now they're relying on Lingard who I'm not sure is even good enough and Fellaini who's completely ill-suited to the style they want to play. A player like Mata isn't going to do much without runners either.

The way I see it, they could remove Van Gaal but I don't see what a new manager could do better with this squad. They might play a more exciting brand of football but results-wise I don't think it'd be too different.

I dont think he will get sacked. He will finish as usual in top 4 at the end of the season !
