van Gaal Sack Watch
Everything going as expected.
Almost half into the second season, things start falling apart.
Erratic man management. Stubborn inexplicable decisions. People start to hate him. Media's turning on him, as will people from the club soon.
Alienating everyone with determined steadiness.
Utd once again torn between their manager-Führerkult, their hyperbolic expectations, and the sobering reality of a mediocre squad led by a deeply flawed manager, all clouded in a whirl of shredded pound sterling notes.
It's surely a possibility he won't make it until the end of the season?

Philosophers in 20 years will be debating whether Moyes was a better manager than LVG and who was more detrimental in United's transitional period

I don't think he gets sacked before the end of the season tbh, but he better be out of the door in the summer.

For ne me is a play making manager (:
We complain about Wenger but when he leaves we will be in a similar situation. United fans better get used to it.

I hope our board are clever enough to get Moyes in.

Re: van Gaal Sack Watch
Shouldn't be long now. It looks like he has lost the dressing room. Players look like they can't be arsed out there. Has already fallen out with Young and Basti in the space of a couple of weeks, and players turned against him after the Mata sub v Wolfsburg(According to BarneyRednews- respected Utd source).
Coupled with us being eliminated from 2 comps already and having 3 wins in 12 in all comps, he's a dead man walking imo, regardless of the positive briefing Woodward is giving the media about LVG.
We won't make top 4 the way things are going. Question is, do we sack now and try to salvage our season, something we failed to do under Moyes. Need to learn from that mistake.

Re: van Gaal Sack Watch
Maybe historians, looking back, will be able to conclude that it was neither Moyes nor van Gaal, but the strangely sinister presence of Ryan Giggs at both of their sides that was the significant constant in their decline all along.
Maybe in hindsight, this will have become clear after he will have taken over and finished the job

Or it was the terrible squad that we had. SAF retired at the right time. The man was a genius tbh.

Re: van Gaal Sack Watch
Kagawa is doing fine at BVB. Chickpea is doing fine at Leverkusen. Di Maria is doing fine at PSG. Even Cleverley is doing fine at Everton LMAO.
Evra reached a CL final with Juve ffs.
The our squad is poor excuse doesn't cut it, after 5 transfer windows and gazillions wasted.

LVG
Don't think he'll be sacked before the end of the season though. Who are they going to get? Guess they would probably put Giggs at manager.

Ancelotti is available
Much will depend on Pep's imminent decision about his future.
If he doesn't extend, Utd will try hard to get him. Assuming it isn't 100% fixed to City.
That would also mean Bayern would enter the race for Ancelotti.
As next in line they'd probably try for Pinochiotettini

That just means Kagawa, Chicharito, Evra and Di Maria are not cut out for the best and most competitive league in the world (:

AVB could be persuaded to leave beautiful Leningrad
would be a step down in terms of actual club level though

Re: van Gaal Sack Watch
Poor squad by spending half a billion dollars.
Great players like Di Maria left because of the rigid system.
Players not allowed to express themselves
Pass it back and side ways philosophy
A process of turning Glory Glory Manutd
into Boring boring Manutd.
Picks unnecessary fights with players.
Valdes rots in streets. De gea tried to flee. Mata worse than ever
top players turns into average players. Average players turns into shit ones.
Blame game tried, Rooney was the scape goat.
Lucky for him he got injured.
Philosophy again prevailed, lost again to Wolfsburg completed the process of reaching EL
All this while a angry maths professor sits on the bench doing nothing other than shit subs all game and
abuses media employee's and poor Valdes after match.

Andre Villas GOATas is heading back to Portugal at the end of the season, turning down a contract extension from Zenit. Cited family as his reason.
A great father, a great manager, a great man.

Re: van Gaal Sack Watch
his ego is unreal, so stubborn ffs
makes baffling substitutions, which I imagine is partially down to him deciding to offload 75% of our bench/cover we literally have nobody we can bring on in games that can even hope to make an impact
Moyes >

wasn't AVB guaranteed to be sacked a while back? this is before they cruised their CL group but I somewhat recall him having a horrendous time with Zenit

Yes but he was Utd fans no 1 target during Moyes. Similar to Fellaini, who's performing well too.
Shaw was coming along nicely too until he got injured. Which I think was a bad blow for the whole team.
Herrera being injured is bad too.
