I hate this thing that is happening nowadays, lots of countries getting players from other countries in their national teams. I think people are thinking that national teams are = clubs

So long as it's a personal choice (which it should be) there will always be such situations.

It should be the players who have zero ties to a country who should be ridiculed. Not players in Rodrigo's position.

Rodrigo grew up in spain anyway, with a spanish parent, he should proudly feel spanish.

No, that's not like that, he is brazilian, his father was a brazilian player. You can't just get anyone who's moved to your country from another country and put at the national team. Where is the tradition? Spain must be real spanish players only.

But he has ties lol.

His mother is Spanish. He plays in Spain. He's lived a significant amount of time in Spain. Which makes him as Spanish as the next person.

I have no problem with this, but I do have problems with players like Cacau who have nothing with Germany, but chose to play for Germany.
