This is honestly the first time I'm seeing Bennacer beyond a few youth highlights. Can't say what he's like.

It's not, really. Kamara and Bennacer don't get games if Zelalem, Crowley, Toral, Maitland-Niles or Gnabry are with the club. Not that I'm blaming them for this but we'd probably see a bit more quality on the pitch with those guys.

Add on Wilshere, Rosicky, Welbeck, Chamberlain and now Walcott being injured at the same time. Can't really blame us for seeing this game as more of a nuisance than anything.

It's a difficult one, now. Do we try and get back in it or just make sure it doesn't become embarrassing?

Ignoring the injuries, do you guys actually care about this game? Really?

I'm far more concerned about the injuries than going out the cup. As long as this doesn't get too embarrassing I don't care.

I was looking forward to seeing some of the youth and seeing some of the squad get some playing time.

That joy lasted less than 3 minutes. I am now wondering why I bothered.

To be honest, he has been forced to play them like Jay said. The majority of our depth is either injured or on loan. Who else do you want him to play ? The kitman or the physio

I don't think it would be terrible for us if our 2nd team got much needed minutes in the Carling Cup but what do I know.

But then it is redundant when Wenger decides to play first team players in this stupid competition against some clubs that barely play football.

Anyone one other than first team players literally, there are so many young players who could thrive in this competition.

We're now without our first 3 RW's and if Cech gets injured/suspended we'll have Macey playing against Swansea. It was all worth it wasn't it? To give us a better chance in a competition no one gives a *bleep*.

Good thing is, both walcott and oxlade looked 'ok' on the bench.

Bad news, our next match is swansea away where we definitely need both if not just Theo.
