Coutinho shits on Eriksen and it's not close.
except he doesn't and it is...few wonder goals and he is some complete world beater of a player

^ Eriksen is ALL about free kicks. Literally, take him off free kick duty, and he becomes 20% of the player
I agree Cou has been very out of form in the last 2 months though....but He always so far in all his seasons in PL, starts hitting top top form around christmas time. I expect the same again.

Spoken like someone who doesn't watch Eriksen
Personally find them on similar levels. Coutinho I would probably say has a higher ceiling and is a better player but is inconsistent. Eriksen is too, though (inconsistent)

Weren't you one of the lads complaining in every other post that we didn't sign Eriksen when he moved? (Rhetorical question, to be clear)

Of course. Because we signed Luis Alberto instead. Buying Eriksen would have been a much better investment. It doesn't, however, making him a world beater.

Why does everyone take that Hames list seriously? I thought he was just kidding, but if he's not then

Both are at the same level, Moments of brilliance that can win games but are inconsistent.
I'd take Coutinho over him any day, Much higher ceiling.

Wijnaldum was very good for PSV last season. Really talented player. One could argue he was as important as Depay in that season.

I don't know about a shocker, Stoke are good and Swansea are doing what they seem to always be doing, blowing hot and cold. Looked really good in the first few games, now are winless in five.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '15-'16 discussion V5
^ Agreed, they made basically a similar league last year. Stoke would Ā ' d Ā improved his table , it's not a relegation team . Although Begovic and N'Zonzi were great losses ( and I don't rate Shaqiri ) . But it's an organized team who is difficult to win at its stadium and this makes the difference in EPL
Swansea is often an illegible team . If you want to win a game sheet it's better to avoid to play it . Ā Purgatory's kind of like the in-betweeny one. You weren't really shit, but you weren't all that great either. Like the Swansea.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '15-'16 discussion V5
Aston Villa Vs Swansea
Swansea's defeat at home against Stoke put bit of a foul taste in many swansea fans' mouths. With the way Swasnea started the season, quite a lot if expected of them. However things haven't gone exactly well and they are now 5 matches without a win. Will it change against Aston Villa who are sitting 19th in the table and on the verge of having another manager sacked? Tactical Tim is under huge pressure. This should be decent.
Leicester Vs Crystal Palace
5th vs 6th and neither of the team involves 'upper mid-card'. No one would have thought Leicester would start the season so well and no one would have thought Palace would be this high up the table after 9 matches. Interesting thing with Palace is that they have yet to draw a match. It's been either a win or a loss for Pardew's team. On the other hand Leicester have only lost once. Being at home Leicester should win this, but Palace are unpredictable.
Norwich Vs WBA
A match no one cares about
Stoke Vs Watford
Stoke have bounced back from their awful start to the season and now they have won 3 in a row. Looks like Hughes finally figured out what works for them. Watford on the other hand have been gritty and conservative so far apart from the Arsenal match where they got a bit of a reality check. With Watford struggling to score goals, stoke should take this one.
West Ham Vs Chelsea
3rd biggest match of the weekend. West Ham sit 4th in the table after being unbeaten for the last 6 matches. An impressive run of form which highlights their strong start to the season. They are a bit of a giant killers however at home, they are kinda suspect to underperform against big teams. Even then, Billic's men should give Chelsea a strong match who could be fatigued after travelling to Ukraine midweek. Many eyes on this one
Arsenal Vs Everton
2nd biggest match of the weekend. All eyes on Arsenal as they take on Everton after their impressive win against Bayern. Questions on whether Arsene will rotate or not since there will be some tired legs, however it could be a bad move to change anything since the current formula has been working so well. Arsenal could go top of the table after a win so that should give them enough motivation. Everton on the other hand come into the game after a big defeat against United. That seems like a minor blip though considering they have been in good form before that. Arsenal favourites, but Everton usually performs well against them. And will also be much more fresh.
