Sad to see Mirko go, I'll miss him. But we're getting a great deal here.

Will never forget his first season for us.His performances in the second half of the season was one of the key reasons in us clinching the Scudetto.Scored a lot of mind-blowing goals along the road too.
Shame he's going to playing for Inter.Maybe he can do the same to Inter what agent Matri did to Milan

Yeah I hope that he'll get out of Inter in 6 months time. I can go back to supporting him then
I'm pretty nervous about the Inter game later on though, they raise their game and Vucinic is a clutch player. He'll definitely give us trouble I think
Not to mention that little *bleep* Icardi.

I will never forget the clutch Vucinic goal in the 11/12 season when he scored vs Milan in the Coppa Italian with an absolute stunner. I ran around my house screaming man, it was absolutely amazing.
Ciao Zoro
I plan on making a farewell video for him. Any suggestions on songs I should use?

Braking and restarting. The meeting continues. Marotta, Guild, Lucci and Aid (Attorney Vucinic) continue the summit to try to find an agreement. In the last minute, however, arrived in Milan Mirko Vucinic, in the company of a physician Inter. The car was one of the Nerazzurri, Pavia destination for medical examinations. Players want to close the deal, the will is clear. Vucinic wants Inter Milan, Juventus Guarin. The agents search for a solution. Now the ball is in the hands of the company, the exchange goes live. White smoke coming up.

Intense hours, minutes concrete. Vucinic Guarin to Juventus and Inter, it is yet. The Montenegrin went to Pavia, to support medical consultations with the Nerazzurri. It lacks only the last Thohir ok, the parties have basically reached agreement. It will be also added an adjustment in the transaction statement. Meanwhile, Inter have already identified what may be a midfield replacement for Guarin: Hernanes, Lazio player. An interest of which we have already spoken in recent days, a player who loves the Nerazzurri. Vucinic is approaching, and the Inter thinks Hernanes.

Instead why don't we offer Quags as part of a deal to get Hernanes?

Re: -| Former Players Thread| -
so what happens now? Arsenal still want him?
why don't we switch him with Nani since both are want-aways now?
i mean let's face it the Guarin exchange thing has made everyone know Vuci wants out so it would be weird if he came back.... plus he won't kick llorente out either way so he will be on bench as usual...

Di Marzio wrote:A future yet to be decided, a situation that continues to evolve. This morning Mirko Vucinic went to Juve’s headquarters, he spoke to Fabio Paratici and they have yet to decide what to do. After the swap for Guarin collapsed, Juventus is evaluating the best option for the striker, who today skipped the team’s practice with the club’s permission. The agent for the player, Alessandro Lucci, is working on finding a potential solution. At the moment there don’t appear to be the conditions to resume talks with Inter on the swap for Guarin, but Inter may try to purchase Vucinic. The situation is evolving, Mirlo Vucinic’s future needs to be decided.
Hope we are not forced into giving him on loan in the end. This Guarin-Vucinic saga has actually turned out to be disadvantageous for us in some ways.

We need to hold our ground and refuse to loan him
If Inter want him now, they can give us Guarin plus 3M for being *bleep* idiotic.

The striker's representative Alessandro Lucci told the Italian news agency;
"We distance ourselves from certain malice, which is invented & without foundation.
"On Monday, Mirko proved his fitness to the doctors, then on Tuesday I was at the headquarters of Inter to prepare contracts. This is a clear & blatant proof of the success of the medical visits.
"We are planning to protect ourselves & to take legal action against those who put out these falsehoods."

Di Marzio wrote:Despite yesterday’s events Vucinic could still join Inter. The presidents of the two clubs, Erick Thohir and Andrea Agnelli, have been talking to see if there is a chance the striker could end up at Inter after all. We can completely exclude that that the swap for Guarin will happen: this option is no longer available. The contacts are on going, but they only involve the possibility of Vucinic joining Inter: Thohir is evaluating the option, he will then decide. They are discussing the formula of the transfer, it could be completed as an expensive loan with a forced option to buy.

'Quagliarella yes to Lazio in June'
Lazio director Igli Tare reveals Fabio Quagliarella “gave the all-clear for the summer” after refusing a January transfer.
The striker was one of several players who turned down the opportunity to join the Aquile on deadline day.
Coach Edy Reja painted a bleak picture in his Press conference yesterday when claiming 10 different players rejected their offers.
“The Coach said a number just to give an idea, but it wasn’t 10,” Tare insisted on Sky Sport Italia.
“We spoke to Quagliarella and Sebastian Giovinco, but neither of them wanted to leave Juventus in January.
“Quagliarella gave the all-clear for the summer, so we may well resume those negotiations in June.
“We had a deal in place with Parma to bring in Jonathan Biabiany, but the player preferred to remain where he was.
“Why did so many players turn us down? It’s tough to get players to leave big clubs at the end of January. If we’d had Ederson then we would not have needed anyone else, but with his injury and Hernanes moving to Inter we thought it wise to bring in a forward.
“With Sergio Floccari going to Sassuolo, we brought in Helder Postiga, a player of international experience. Gael Kakuta arrived from Chelsea and has everything it takes to do well.”
Tare also explained why goalkeeper Federico Marchetti is on the bench again today.
“He has been suffering from this muscular problem in his left thigh for four weeks now. It allows him to train, but when it comes time to play he doesn’t feel confident.”
Reja had always insisted Marchetti was not feeling 100 per cent after a stomach bug, so this is a different version of events.
