A couple decent performances won't and shouldn't erase the horrible display and mistakes he had made prior to that.

Happy for his saves, but he still has a lot of catching up to do before we can confidently say that he's improved.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Courtois has been poor for longer than an entire season, and that’s something that warrants criticism. One or two good matches doesn’t change that. If anything, claiming that everything is good an dandy all of a sudden, is a kneejerk reaction and exactly what I’d expect from GL

I obviously hope he’s finally found form and stability, but that still remains to be seen. I don’t believe Courtois has accomplished a sustainably high level of performance that’s even comparable to what Navas displayed during the 15-16 and 16-17 seasons for us. I, for one, think Navas was the best goalkeeper in the world in 15-16. For me, Thibaut’s «best» doesn’t translate to an amount of consistency worth mentioning when comparing the two. There’s the short world cup.. and then there’s his short stint with Atletico.

Courtois made quite a few mistakes this game too, the defenders did really well to get rud of loose balls but has to be said really nice saves in extra time

Conetois is a decent to good goalie but I have seen Lucas Vasquez perform great, I have seen Lingard perform great. Guys of that ilk would have great matches ever so often.

Make no mistake, I still do not think him anything more than a decent to good goalie.

Courtois has conceded 3 goals in his last 12 matches and overall, despite terrible start to the season, with 0.56 goals conceded per game is at the top spot for Zamora race. Oblak is second with 0.63.

Current top 4 GK in the world anything below that is unacceptable. He is carrying his immense form from last season and has become one of our most important players.

How much have you seen of Oblak? He's definitely above Ter Stegen and Alisson, for me. The most consistent goalkeeper I've seen in recent times.

Best GK in the world. Only Navas is close to his level currently.

Making changes to my list from my post earlier, I'm removing Ter Stegan and Alisson from the top tier. Alisson being the first ever GK to concede a brace to Vini Jr is enough to move him down. Ter Stegan goes down because Barca in general sucks this year.

Conetois is doing great things and as a Madrid fan, I tip my proverbial hat to him. From being mocked relentlessly to showing actual great goal keeping, well done.

Not changing the name I have for him though.

He has a stupid looking face but I have to agree he's been incredibly solid.

Dropping Ter Stegen down just becos Barca sucks in general doesnt make sense lool.... hes been amazing for us. We would be even worst without him
