We're getting Kalulu on loan, whatever, defense should be the least of our concerns

More like we need to sign a winger ASAP and another forward to cover injuries would also be a smart move. Season starting next week and our pre-season was quite bad. Yildiz was used on the left side because Kostic is injured, in the meanwhile perhaps Fagioli or Loca can be used as TQ.

So we play something like this assuming Chiesa is gone. Looks pretty shite on paper but Motta did wonders in Bologna with a system totally different than Allegri. Hopefully his modern tactics will be a breathe of fresh air and it improves our players general performance.

I can't believe the state of our squad to start this season. A clean up was necessary, and the salaries and cost reduction was urgent, but we don't even have enough players.

Giuntoli took an extreme approach freezing everyone that wasn't in the plan out of the team, then failed to sell enough of them, so under a state of emergency some of them are reintegrated now without having a preseason.

The situation with Chiesa is ridiculous. He didn't renew with a lower salary so he was frozen out and the relationship broke. So under the threat of being sent to the stands our best attacked is out of the team with no replacement in sight. We start the season with Weah in his place, a huge downgrade.

For 6 months we have chased Koopmeiners and he is still not signed by the start of the season. I think we will sign him in the end and we will end up with a vastly improved midfield and with the worst attack in the club's recent history.

At least lots of deadweight was sold.

Thuram is the Thuram that scored the goals for Inter right? Saw him at the Euros for France... still cant decide if hes good or not tbh

I'm fairly certain you will end up with Sancho on loan without an obligation and us paying 2/3 of his wages by the end of the window btw

No it's his brother Khephren, a DM/CM

Would take Sancho on those terms @Firenze and we could also get Joao Felix on loan from Atletico. Those 2 guys come with big question marks yet it's better than literally nothing.

As for central defense we are stacked beyond reason with newcomers Tiago Djalo, Kalulu and veterans Danilo, Rugani on top of the starting pair. On the sides we'll play Cabal and Cambiaso/Danilo with MDS as back-up.

Crap mercato so far, Giuntoli has been sleeping and the sales of Soulé and Huijsen do not make any sense whatsoever.

Marcus Thuram is definitely good. This is his younger brother Kephren, a midfielder, who looks fine so far.

I wouldn't say Giuntoli has been sleeping, he just tried to do too much. Too many sales, too many signings, all in one summer so he failed to get us fully ready for the season.

I just wish Allegri did a bit better in the second half of the season so he never gets sacked. Juve played the most atrocious football I've ever seen.

If i remember correctly, the players gave up on Max after losing to Inter

In retrospect a blessing in disguise, i defended Allegri for years but it turns out he was not getting the best out of that squad at all.

apparently we're haggling over the terms of Sancho's loan, we want an obligation but you want an option

I'm 100% sure we won't get that and you will essentially mug us off, I'm also sure he will do well in Serie A
