I think the Canales and Madrid story is over Shaven... Ozil is very, very young and will be here for 3-4 years. I don't see Canales coming back to be on the bench.

Canales aint finished here. He'll be back to replace Kaka as rotation AM, and I expect him to give Ozil a run for his money. Dont know if he will be able to start, or become a CM or something, or if it will end well or not, but its not over thats for sure.

he will become an acm, he will be an iniesta for us.

we just have to wait and see actually but i do think he will be better as am since he has great attacking skills

Canales is going to be ready for next U20 game. Expect him to take over lead of this team. One surprise (to me) is they have him listed as a striker not as a MF. It will be interesting to see where he actually plays.

Valencia is really excited to get him for next year (and I suspect it will be difficult for Madrid to get him back). I only hope he does develop as we expected and then hopefully Mou can get over his bias against him (or maybe by that time Mou has gotten bored and moved on).

I suspect at Valencia he will play with Banega in MF with Mata, Pablo Hernandez at wings and Solado at striker. Sounds pretty good to me.

He hasn't been captain due to his injury. Not sure if they will change now. It's one of the CBs. He is the leader tho. He really excelled in the half that he played. Was man of match. He changed the entire tempo of game.

Unfortunately tho, I think he is done with madrid. Mou just doesn't have any confidence in him. I expect him to grow to be a star in next 2 years, but Mou will probably still be here when it's time for him to come back and he will be competeing with Sahin, Khedira, Ozil, etc. I hope he does as he is going to be a great one. His vision last night was just as good as Xabi (maybe even better since he does it up front as well as way back.

anyways both leon and canales were not mou's purchase

we all know the deal with leon, but canales has a good future, by what mou has said in the past i can assess that, he will play here eventually.

canales just didnt fit into last years plans.. or this years.

hes young and if mou didnt have an intended plan for him, im sure things would have gone another way.

Mou has a young team, but he doesn't seem to want to give the young Spanish much of a chance. I can understand what happened to Pedro Leon, but I can't with regards to Canales. Obviously he must have done something to piss him off!!!

The kid has talent and will be great, but he needs to play to develop. Last year he was rightfully behind Ozil, but I would experiment with him any day over Kaka. And letting a young player get on for final 5 or 10 minutes, does nothing to develop a young player. That's all he did with Canales and Granero in 1st half of last season. This year, it would have made sense to have either Canales or Sarabia as back-up to Ozil. Bottom line is even tho I strongly believe Canales will be the next Spanish superstar, I don't think it will be with Madrid unless Mou leaves after the next 2 years.

sad part is we all see it coming when mou signed to madrid.

i still remember some here was saying no to "loan canales" this coming season he just need to wait.
poeple saying he is learning from the beach BS reasons.

i understand your views, but i dont agree with them. ill never forget him saying, that we must all wait for the right time, he will play and promote who ever he thinks is good to do so.

i believe in mourinho, and im not going to be wishing for him to leave just to see those guys play, because im sure the sitaution is not as once sided as you think it is.
