I think he's been playing well tbh. Stopped blunders from Pepe in the start and secured Inter didn't score, worked well offensively etc.

Isco looks dead tired and just walks around there. He has also lost the ball alot but he has played the most out of all players. In this situation I would expect Carlo to continue playing him let's see what Benitez does

Danilo is a very average defender. He doesn't get close to his man which let's inter put crosses in, he is also not very good attacking wise, poor poor

Been very impressed with Casemiro he has won many balls and has put some nice cross field balls. Jese has also been excellent, great goal. He is going to become one hell of a striker for us. Bale is also playing well, doesn't lose the ball anymore and plays some very neat passes. Rinaldo meh he is here to show off his long shots and step over that has been clear this half.

Ramos is such an idiot of a defender, he is getting carried by Pepe is absolutely excellent

The pitch is awful which stops of from playing our game but still we have got to step it up in the second half. Would like to see more of Cherychev and co to see how they play

Pepe was poor today.

Very good second half. Poor choice by Benitez to keep Isco on who could barely walk. He looked so relieved when he was subbed.

I don't know what anyone sees in Lucas Silva he is below average player, takes 2/3 touches before releasing the ball, does not hit it to the other side to relieve pressure, just stands there and loses the ball the moment he is pressured. Casemiro on the other hand looks like the real deal.

Anyone else want James to be in contention to take free kicks from now on especially when we are trailing?

Anyone but CR7 would be great. He hasn't been hitting the target consistently since the first half of his second season at this club. God knows why he's still first choice. Kroos, Bale, James, Benzema, Modric, Isco.. even Marcelo would make better use of our FKs.

CR imitator Bale has developed a good Freekick while CR's are shit as ever.

I'm so pissed I can't watch these games and when I do I'm too tired to finish the whole thing

That's just not true. Ronaldo  gives away FK's to Bale / James if they are from the right side, a position which benefits those 2.

James has never taken a direct free kick with Ronaldo still playing during a game and Bale was assigned the free kick taker from the left but Ronaldo still took many of them

that when the season is over, the point is cr needs to stop taking FK all together its a waste, to watch him kicking the ball away 9/10 times.

meh last game of the season with Ronaldo already on a hat trick. As chad said he usually takes the majority of the fks which shouldn't happen with his poor conversion rate

you can tell it irks Ronaldo not being able to take the free kicks from the right.

Reality check. His free kicks are shit and he needs to realize this because they get us no where 90% of the time.

Horrendous game from Vasquez and the whole BBC basically. Casemiro has been awful too. Want to see him next to Krooz this game to see whether its due to the pairing rather than him as a player

Cant wait for James and Isco to show these players how to pass a damn ball and Jese showing Benz how to be a striker

Much improved second half. Little bit panicky in their penalty area but we created lots. Just like against Roma defence was rock solid. The only chance they had was from a routine Ramos brainfart.

Casemiro looked good next to Kroos imo. Forget Modric imagine if Kroos gets injured, his footballing iq is so high. James still little rusty, he should start next game. Jese was bright but just like BBC before he keeps losing the ball, very impressed with Cherychev, definitely a keeper. Casilla ffs looked like prime Iker

Preseason is fun to watch and to get an idea of whats to come but rating players so soon is not my thing either.

Where do you think my avatar came from?? Up until the CWC James was very poor. He was very good on the right but extremely poor on the left. Carlo tried to put him in thst ADM role and the experiment failed, he benefitted from being out for so long because just as he picked up form the rest started losing theirs

You can tell a players quality by watching them play especially if they aren't even guaranteed to start

But still consistent throughout the whole year and despite not winning any silverware this year he had a great first season that was recognized by madridistas. Now I guess what he meant before is that we can't put a label on players especially in such a short time

We might end up seeing Danilo bench Carvajal or we might end up really seeing a Coentrao 2.0 (which im torn about because coentrao was miles better than marcelo many times during his time here).

Only time will tell.
