Will CONMEBOL still give out the award?

I wouldn't think they'd give it to Vidal. He played great but was lucky to still be playing lol

No one really stood out for any team tbh. Chile were collectively good.

But giving it to Bravo wouldn't have been the worst decision.

Should've done it in the World Cup if he was completely fair. He played well in this tournament atleast even if he wasn't highly effective.

Vidal was still Chile's best player through the tournament, if they were going to give it out to someone else. But yeah, Messi earned it but again came up very short in the final game, IMO.

I think Valdivia was as inconsistent as Vidal. Aranguiz and Medel were very good through out the tournament.

Basically Medel is for Chile what Mascherano is for Argentina , always solid performaces same thing in WC. I think it is not just a matter of role , there are players who have a particular empathy with their NT getting their best
