The 2015/2016 Calcio Saga - Page 41 Empty Re: The 2015/2016 Calcio Saga

I think after winning the CL ( and the tripletta) Moratti felt he had achieved what his father had achieved. That was his goal. Then with Mourinho leaving he bought a known international manager (Rafa) and hoped things would go well. They didn't. He was a spent force at that time. It's not easy spending your family's money by the 10s of millions of euros. The family gets upset. He should have sold sooner. Inter might have avoided the embarrassment of being mid level team with no Europe.

Inter is a big club with a great history that had one of the quickest and biggest self induced falls of any big club in history. Juve and Milan had legal problems, that's different.

Liverpool's fall (it is my favorite English club) was much slower but no less painful.

Diego Perotti is really a great player. He' s ready for a big team. It's nice to watch him playing.

hmm

do you see analogies with 1999 ? smoking  no cups, Diego Lopez like Lehman, Donnarumma like Abbiati ,  Roma and Napoli to abdicate together like  Fiorentina and Lazio , 4 losses in 1st half ( Milan-Napoli 0-4 like Parma-Milan 4-0 smoking )

Wasn't really following football then, but please do tell how that season went hmm

Agreed. Way under my radar. He's not that young either, I wonder why he hasn't been "discovered".

Apparently today was the first time in the season a Milan club won by more than one goal.

We got already 7 clean sheets this year. Last year they were 5 during the whole year hmm: but for the non Inter fans it is just because of " luck " lol  , as if  the change of defensive partnership was irrielvant.
besides why did Atletico Madrid leave to go away Miranda ? hmm He's playing still greatly

I don't rate him so highly  tbh. He is a GK very good but he tended to inconsistency expecially last year, the typical Slavic inconsistency ( all Slavic players are so hmm )
So far he played badly only against Fiorentina though and he gaves us points as against Roma..
For me , anyway , Buffon is still the best Serie A GK.
He was also the best Juve player this year, those saves against Brozovic and Gilk were amazing

Come on Robes.

You were the worst team in at least three of the matches you won, and the only reason you are keeping clean sheets is that Handanovic is discovering his inner Zoff.

They need to be a superstar team to win this league Laughing

You vastly overestimate the quality of the competition, as is most on here really.

Why must everything be shit in your opinion? This years edition of Serie A offers much more than the previous four years imho. This is the league that has spend most money on transfers this season bar the EPL. Of course the competition and the quality is higher now than it was just one year ago. Stop being so negative bro, you make me depressed with your doomed view of world football, and this is coming from someone who enjoys (mostly) reading your comments.

Sorry i don't mean to Laughing

Anyway i didn't mean to make it sound like they are shit, more that Juventus don't need to be great to win it. Too many inconsistent teams with weak mentality means they can be meh and win it.

they should've sold him to barca back when they were offering 20 mil. same thing with guarin, its not that theyre bad, but teams are offering enough to make me want to find a replacement.

I somewhat agree with Mole. I don't think Juve making a comeback is out of the realm of reality. All the other teams are inconsistent, and once Juve gets going which is sooner rather than later, I wouldn't be surprised to see them on top, again.

Ok  .... now say me what are these matches won where we were the worst team.

Then I must have lost those better matches played by Milan so far, except yesterday ( great match tbh )

I don't believe he is as " top 5 GKs " etc but he is definitely good though so I am satisfied he renewed because we can't aspire for better.
in Italy the Inter fans don't love him
particularly tbf , they'are basically snobbish for our great tradition of GKs and he 'd be as the worst GK in last 30 years ...

but infact we downgraded more in other roles than the GK (at least he is capable also to be a GOAT GK ... if he played always as against Roma he'd be the Slovenian Buffon Laughing ) so I don't get these reasonings made by a good number of Inter fans about him. I can testify this thing. When I 've criticized sometimes him  ) it was not " because we had in past Zenga Pagliuca Julio Cesar etc " Laughing  but for example, about the outcomings , imo his main defect , over the foot .
otherwise for coherence an Inter fan should criticize even Icardi.
then tbh there is not the same number of great GKs as in past..... Handanovic could be average 15 years ago , now it's different. so considering I c an't get Neuer or De Gea , I ' m easily ok with Handanovic

I was just joking..

but I see your point of course.
Handanovic as GK to me as outsider seems to be the position Inter fans need to worry the least about.. else you should start by complaining Guarin isn't as good as prime Matthäus Laughing

For some reason, I did not really rate Toldo that highly. Maybe I was ruined by Buffon. The disparity in quality made Toldo look like a scrub.

Prime Toldo was in Fiorentina.
