Colback joined you only a year ago, I don't think you're selling him already.

Wijnaldum isn't that good though.

He'll be a great fit for Newcastle but he's a mid-table player at best. Which I guess is a "star" player for NUFC right now... lol

RA actually has no idea what he's talking about and has never watched Wijnaldum play. Laughing I don't think he's ever even watched an Erevidisie game...he kept trying to tell people that Suarez played the 10 at Ajax and was never a striker before coming to Liverpool. rofl

Wijnaldum is a good signing for Newcastle. Like I said before if they deploy him properly (as an AM instead of a CM) they'll be very happy with him. Not that he's a bad CM, but he's much better in as an advanced player. He makes great runs into the box from deep, has pretty decent speed and on the ball ability. His work rate is good and his finishing is pretty good too. He can pick out a final pass pretty nicely.

He was looking like a world beater at Feyenoord before he opted to go to PSV and they moved him deep into midfield out of an attacking position and stunted his development (IMO). Even for the NT look at the difference in his play between when they regularly play him at CM or when he played as an AMC against Brazil (where he was the best player on the pitch) or the immediate impact he made as an AM when replacing RVP against Latvia (lol Latvia).

He played Dennis' position ffs.

And yeah, I've never not once watched the Eredivisie. Ever.

Muppet.

Wijnaldum is overrated. You've overrated his ass for 4 years saying he's going to make it to the top and he joined a team that flirts with relegation with upper management worse than Liverpool. WHAT A TALENT!!!!!!!!!! Decent player in FM, solid player in the Eredivisie, average player if you want to compare to "top sides". A lot like Fer. (Not in style but ability / reputation.)

But yeah please tell me how you watch 7 different leagues, including youth leagues, know about EVERY SINGLE PLAYER TARGETED TO LIVERPOOL (INCLUDING 16 YEAR OLDS) WITH THEIR WORLD CLASS POTENTIAL SON!!!!!!!!! and still manage to think we're one of the best teams in ALL of England Europe despite being, well nobodies. We're essentially Tottenham right now. Being carried by our history lmao. The sooner this management goes, the sooner Liverpool can actually start to rebuild. Because we're no better than those yids in London old son.

Eh he played CM in a 433 last year and had the best year of his career lol. Plus all the skills you mentioned are much more likely to be exploited as a CM than an AM.

If he plays AM then it's less likely those runs will be made.

Funny how RA actually had to make things up just because his ignorance is exposed. He can't be older than 15. Could you provide examples of what you're saying? Or please continue about how Higuain is a flop since he went to Madrid as a wonderkid and has never accomplished anything.

Also obviously GLS Wijnaldum would be likely to have career years for a while yet regardless of position since he's still young and approaching his prime. Anyway enjoy him.

Is Cabella staying? Also didn't you guys sign Mitrovic as well? With those three alone the attack should look pretty nice. Though I suppose without a decent coach it doesn't really matter. Maybe you can have Rodgers when Liverpool sack him because he's totally rubbish and driving Liverpool and its history into the dirt.

Mitrovic is a weird situation.

He wants to join, his agent is pushing him to join, we are the only ones who have met the asking price but his dad wants him to join Porto. Laughing

I still think it will happen and we have invited his family to try and convince him otherwise. But we will have to wait and see.

No news on Cabella atm but McClaren is the coach as well as an entire new backroom staff ( Pardew's entire backroom staff is gone and replaced by people who actually seem to have a clue Laughing )

De Jong and Anita have all said it's different to Pardew in the sense that we playing football and there's a huge focus on keeping possession and pressing. ( Wijnaldum was quoted as saying the same thing)

Whether that translate to actual results is anybody's guess and i still think we lack about 4 quality additions but it's positive in the sense that we actually have a coaching staff who want to play football.

That UEFFA cup final run is the only thing I remember them from tbh Laughing

And did Hitzlsperger play for them?

But yes, certainly not a bad coach.

I'm not concerned about McClaren, mainly because of the coaching staff he has behind him. It's no longer a band of cone placing yes men.

What i am concerned with is will Ashley stump up the cash to get the quality of player we need, yes i know we just spent 14.5m on Wijnaldum but the skeptic in me tells me we will sell someone to fund it Laughing

We lost Santon, MYM, Ben Arfa, Cabaye and Remy towards the end of Pardew's reign and they need to be replaced.

I also remember how Gareth Southgate ruined them completely in the subsequent years.

And btw what a dumb move by Begovic.Could've easily been a starter at a CL club but instead goes to a team to become 2nd choice to a young world class GK who'll start like 90% of the games.

It's just a matter of whether the owner will sanction several 10m+ signings like the manager claims he does.

What CL club could Begovic have played for exactly? Laughing

He made the correct move. Play for a shithole like Stoke or join one of the most prestigious clubs in football playing alongside some of the best players in the World? More wages, West London & guaranteed trophies. Easy choice.

He'll get games in both domestic cups & will play the odd big game when Thibo goes down.
