His career is definitely a mixed bag tbf, but quite frankly after the shit i have dealt with over the last 12 years it's not gonna take a lot for me to be impressed.

McClaren is actually a modern coach, which I think is the most important thing after Newcastle was managed by dinosaurs for the past five years. His Derby team choked when it mattered but they at least played attractive football based around technical players.

That someone with Ranieri's CV goes to Leicester is pretty amazing to begin with. But is he the right man for relegation dog fight? We'll see.

The De Gea replacement was already signed in January, in case you haven't noticed

Like when United were supposed to challenge for the title when they signed Blind, Herrera, Rojo, Di Maria, Falcao?

No denying PL is getting more competitive but i'd personally wait for the start of the season before making predictions.
