yeah that's what was annoying me earlier, swear dogs/wolves are always the most annoying thing in the games

overall though I'm not sure if this was worth the money tbh, some of the weapons look cool - main boss is really cool - other boss is really disappointing, not very creative, didn't get too many answers but the lore in this is pretty decent

really hope the second DLC delivers

Overconfidence has made me die twice now. One shotting everything... Didn't notice boss wolf sneak up behind me. RIP

Those trees with heat seaking missiles...

yeah, tbf when I was complaining earlier it was just the part where they spam those trees and wolves, felt cheap as f

I died 4-5 times in the DLC to regular enemies (got trolled trying to unlock a shortcut and knocked off the map ffs) and the last boss took me 3 attempts

obviously slightly OP as besides 2-3 enemy types I 1-2 shot everything

Miyazaki said this, in an interview to IGN JP:

There are a couple of different aspects in Dark Souls 3 DLC that we are trying to achieve, but one of them is a continuation of story between the 2 DLCs. This is something new that we are taking on.

hmm, that sounds good to me, especially when you don't get too much from the DLC

but I think I know where the final DLC is going now

So far I am not that impressed. It doesn't seem like it's anything new. Entire level feels like smouldering lake frozen up..

I thought the first boss was just a joke. Like a mini boss or something. They actually tried to pass a shitty NPC and a giant wolf as a boss lmao.

Atm I am not sure where I have to go. I have explored everything. This NPC wants me to show her the flame infront of the painting. Where is this flame?

you have to go find a contraption to open the way to the final boss, it is confusing I guess, I think you have to go through the ice fields with he viking type lads behind the area where you kill Sir Vilhelm or w/e and get to the female NPC that is in the attic (she moved already to the painting for you? there is a bonfire near where she was before you basically gotta go north of that

and yeah besides the final boss it was incredibly disappointing, apparently arena you can't even play with friends atm - arena is crap too imo, prefer dueling invasions near pontiff 1000x more

REALLY hope they are working hard on final DLC, they should have released this with the second if they're supposed to link since it's so short and feels out of fresh ideas, nowhere close to old hunters

it's possible you even made it to where you were suppose to btw and missed the contraption/lever you need to pull

in a pit with tons of those flies that can poison you to the north

Yea I couldn't see that contraption before. I already found the room with bugs but rushed it since i wanted to avoid fighting them lol. But I explored the entire DLC twice trying to figure it out so i suppose I didn't miss anything in the end Laughing

Loving this BB crossover.

yeah, my weapon was gimping me in that fight, just had to play it as cautious as possible in third phase and went ham for 5 seconds when i could, she hits insanely hard in phase 3 ffs and I have insane amounts of hp, really cool fight though, top 3 for me with pontiff and nameless king, obviously heavy maria inspiration

Isn't that pretty normal? in most cases the rule of 3 applies to most bosses in most games.

Ever since the N64 days i remember that being the case lol.

Beat her third try. Was not too difficult but then I am OP. Great fight though. One of the best in DS3.

That painting girl. I am assuming she opens DLC2?

Really can't see it man. Miyazaki seems to be burnt out with all of this. I think we will see a new type of game before BB2. Heard From are contracted to make another BB from Sony though so we'll see
