Easily THE worst boss in the entire soulborne series. You only get 10k souls in NG+ as well

Reading up on Aldia. Didn't realise that he talks about Gwyn in his end dialogues. Interesting way to link DS1 and DS2 together.

Also his and Vendrick's stories are quite brutal. Both experimented on giants and both ended up destroying themselves. Vendrick locked up Aldia too ffs.

in DS3 there's a portrait of the throne of want and Nashandra in Irithyll which is weird. It's like a lore room. Also Nashandra was a piece of one of the original lord souls/father of humanity in DS1, Manus. They're definitely linked. Just less than DS1 & 3

Surprised Aldia wasn't mentioned in DS3 at all considering he seems to have been one of the only people in the series to break out of the cycle in some form

Still 0 news on DS3 DLC. Most people expect it to be related to Londor.

Just noticed how there is fume ultra greatsword in DS3 and it references fume knight.

The more you think about it, the more it feels like DS3 was a fan fiction which tried to be too much like DS1.

Think there was legit beef between people who made DS2 and those who worked on DS1/3.

DS3 does its best to forget and ignore DS2 lol. Would have been nice to reference DS2 a bit more.

think it was because the main director of the Souls series was working mostly on Bloodborne during DS2 so it felt a lot more disconnected than DS3 did, he wasn't as familiar with the story since he didn't oversee it. Think that's all there is to it imo.

should be able to get to the castle early on no? shrine of winter should open for you without having to get the 4 souls

There aren't any NPC outside the fight. I had to get one from the twin dragonslayer area and one pleb from that area where there are 8 ruin sentinals


Nah I need 4 boss souls or 3m souls lol. 4 boss souls is easier and will take 3 hours tomorrow at best

Duke dear freja is 3 times bigger in NG++ and does a jump attack with takes 90% of your health lmao
