Re: Sami Khedira #6
Really don't want this Refdrid reject. We've just rekt the main team so why would we want their scrubs. Never.salmano9 wrote:We are apparently chasing him. He is not worth 5m per seadon of course. I would get him for free to play as reserve, as we have sturaro who is developing really well in that CM position. This would also mean less time for pereyra.
But if he would accept 2-3m per season then ok why not

True, but he is a good player, he lost confidence while staying on the bench.

Khedira is not a special player, apart from his physical presence (defensively) he offers nothing...but he has good experience playing for Madrid and German NT plus if he comes for free and on lower wages why not?

Wut?
Khedira for German NT and last season was monster. He is coming back from nasty injury he hasn't played two matches in a row and has bad relationship with Carlo.
I would love to have him here, but on the other hand I love our own baby Gatusso (Sturaro)

Re: Sami Khedira #6
He's on the verge of joining us lol... A packed Midfield it will be!
I guess that our Major Summer transfers are over, unless we get ZAZA in place of Llorente.
So in midfield we have: Vidal, Khdeira, Marchisio, Pirlo, Pereyra, Sturaro, Pogba. Shall we sign Pereyra?
IF we play 433. 352, it will be 8 players competing for 3 spots.
For 4312, we have 8 competing for 4 positions.
What will happen with this depth? Does it mean that One of Pogba and Vidal will be gone? Pereyra won't be signed? Sturaro out on loan? Pirlo will leave at the end of the season? Marchisio is untouchable.
===
For this reason, I would say that not signing khdeira is better to develope our Midfield with the players we have.

Juventus in Germany for Khedira?
By Football Italia staff
Juventus director Fabio Paratici will reportedly fly to Germany today to meet with Sami Khedira’s agent.
The Bianconeri are believed to be close to sealing a deal for the German international, whose Real Madrid contract is expiring at the end of the season.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that Paratici will fly to Germany today, where he will meet the player’s agent, Jorg Neubauer.
The potential deal is believed to be worth €4m for a three-year deal, with reports this morning suggesting that the deal is all-but done, with only a medical to be completed.
Khedira has been named in Joachim Low’s Germany squad for their matches against the USA and Gibraltar, despite struggling for playing time in Madrid.

@Devi, how good is Khedira, I watched some videos and he seemed kind of like a simply player. Is he good defensively, and how was he after the injuries? What formation do you think we might play if he joins, because 4 million a season seems like money given to a starter.

Does this also mean we're not looking to sign a LB, considering that if we do, Asamoah will also move back to CM?

Our midfield is freakin packed now! I want sturaro to stay and play. I am not very happy, unless we let go off Pirlo...
Also, I don't think we will sign a CAM... Currently have vidal, perreyra to play there and we have a lot of CMs to cover...
I am only afraid that signing khdeira means that we have to offload pogba or vidal.

Buying increasingly likely Sami Khedira could affect not just the strategies bianconere output. Very unlikely that Juventus decides to keep all these pink midfielders: Pogba, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Sturaro, Pereyra adding Khedira and Whereas if necessary also Padoin and Asamoah can play in midfield. Juventus is doing its assessments and may also exit a pawn. When unsellable Marchisio, as Sturaro Pereyra and newcomers, the clues of a possible farewell concern Pirlo, Pogba and Vidal. One of the three of them could leave the Old Lady. Pirlo could decide to leave early and to find new ideas in England or America. Different situation for Pogba and Vidal who many rischieste and which can be placed on the market in case of attractive offers, especially from Spain and England for Pogba to Vidal.

Marotta confirms Khedira deal
By Football Italia staff
Juventus director Beppe Marotta confirmed a deal for Sami Khedira, while they also “need” Paul Pogba.
The transfer guru spoke to Sky Sport Italia ahead of today’s final game of the season against Verona.
Follow the action as it happens in our LIVEBLOG.
“We are very close to Khedira and will announce it officially when pen is put to paper,” confessed Marotta after this week’s medical.
The German international midfielder arrives on a free transfer, as his contract with Real Madrid expires next month.
“We moved swiftly and tenaciously because he has everything we were looking for. It is a winning group and we took the opportunity to further raise the quality level.”
With that in mind, the Bianconeri also shrug off any attempts to poach €100m rated Pogba.
“He is a player who had a positive transformation in a very short space of time. Juventus are accustomed to winning and to achieving their targets.
“Pogba is not just a valuable asset for the club, but is also a player who we need to achieve these objectives.”

Re: Sami Khedira #6
this guy is much much better than Pirlo infront of the defense with him in the final instead of Ol' Dirty we would have won.
I really cant stress this enough This is a MAJOR SIGNING and once again on a free. Great planning knowledge, humility and visions beat all the money in the world of football, any day.
This will def. be one of the strongest midfields of all time in a club known for their strong mids.
