Sadly MOyes was sacked before entering another 40 mil bid for Khedira.

BUT!

for near 30 millions euros, Khedira will join Arsenal very soon, as soon as Arsenal make a last little effort on wages.

Only because it was too late to find a replacement and because of injuries in that area of the field. Pretty sure had they made the offer a week ago, Khedira would be gone.

No we couldn't not in this market

We offered €40m for Pogba and were refused we offered €50m for Vidal at the very start of the window and were knocked back. Gundogan said he won't leave this summer as well.

So no, there was no one else we could of got that was the best in such a time frame and for such money.

Either way my point is no club is going to sell a top player in their position for a bit more than £30M. I would say 'only on FIFA' but even clubs on FIFA wouldn't go for that.

Yeh I just meant with €40m we could get anyone, I doubt we would have prior to the deadline though.

In terms of who, well I can't think of a DM/B2B we wouldn't be able to get that would cost too much over €40m.

Someone like Vidal, Pogba or Matic maybe. Vidal would be hard to get, but he'd get tempted to move if Real Madrid come calling properly and Juventus don't win the CL.

We've refused much more. And he's stated 4095930 times he loves it at Juventus. Including when Madrid were sniffing about.


Pogba? His value increased every season, there's no benefit in selling him

Vidal is a pipe dream son. Unless Madrid put out silly money. Not £32M or so when players like Fella go for £27.

Pretty much most players say they love their current club etc whilst they're there.

If not €40m, then I'd say around €45m or £40m max.

Anyway with the current formation Khedira barely fits in anyway and he's a B2B. So Vidal may not be the answer.
