[La Liga - Jornada 38] FC Barcelona - Deportivo La Coruna
VS
Predicted Starting XI:
Bravo; Montoya, Pique, Bartra, Adriano; S. Roberto, Xavi, Rafinha; Messi, Neymar, Pedro.
OPTA Facts:
Barcelona claimed their 23rd La Liga title last weekend.
The Catalan giants are unbeaten in nine league meetings with Deportivo, winning seven and drawing two.
The Galicians have only taken one point from their last eight league visits to the Camp Nou (D1 L7), failing to even score in their last four.
Barcelona are unbeaten in 13 league games (W12 D1); their best run under Luis Enrique.
Luis Enrique’s Barca side will finish the season with at least 93 points; that’s already six more than Pep Guardiola managed in his first campaign in charge.
Deportivo are without a win in eight away league games (D4 L4), failing to score in half of them.
Depor have drawn more games 0-0 than any other La Liga side this season (6).
Victory in this game would guarantee safety for the Galician side.

All regulars should start with MaTs between the posts.
It shouldn't be intense and everyone who plays against Juve should stay active IMO

i think a week vacation would do good for our starters after such a crazy two months of 2-3 games every 7 dayd

dont think we will rest out front three for entire game...also no point in resting MatS but i think Bravo will play which might even be his last game with us - who knows.

I believe MATS should play the next 2 games given that he will be playing in goals for the final
Front three won't all play at the same time. Suarez will come on after half time.
Montoya, Bartra, Adriano, Pedro will all start imo.

I assume Bravo will be here next season and play Copa... Perhaps even LE keeps him as Liga starter... who knows.
I think we'll mix it, playing some starters and some rotation. I see Messi starting. Something like:
MATs
Montoya - Bartra - Mathieu - Adriano
-----------Roberto
---Rafinha ----- Xavi
Messi -- Suarez -- Pedro
Messi and Suarez probably will be subbed in the second half.

is our B team still have a chance to not get relageted?
if they are mathematically not out then i can see messi/suarez starting for munir to go back to b team.

There is still a chance they dont get relegated. The won a dramatic game on the weekend 3-2. Hailovic scored the winner.

Squad: Bravo, Masip, Montoya, Adriano, Alba, Mathieu, Bartra, Mascherano, Vermaelen, Douglas, Xavi, Iniesta, Sergi Roberto, Rafinha, Pedro, Munir, Neymar Jr and Messi.
So, the players missing are: Ter, Pique, Alves, Rakitic, Busquets and Suarez.

Yeah, I mean there is a mathamatic chance but its time to accept reality. The team isnt good enough, some individuals may be good enough for the even first division, but its teams which get results.
1-0 Messi, header. Nice ball by Rafinha.

Let's not ignore Verminator beasting.
The grace of Baresi, the aggressiveness of Puyol and the looks of Jude Law. What a lad.
