FINALLY
The first new Dragon Ball TV anime series in 18 years has been announced with a Japanese premiere set for July.
Called Dragon Ball Super, Famitsu reports the new show will apparently be written by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama, with events taking place after Goku defeats Majin Buu.
Fuji TV producer Osamu Nozaki said: "As I read the plot [of the series] I've already received from Akira Toriyama, my dreams for this begin to expand. An enemy even stronger than Buu or Freeza may appear..."

Or just Super sayian 4.
Also why not just call it Dragon Ball S, instead of dragon ball super. That totally doesn't roll off the tongue.

The english dub better be the same voices ffs. Watched some of the new films and it was like listening to an audio version of aids.

The English dub is weird. The Americans did their own music instead of adopting the original and they refer to "God" as "Kame" or "Protector of the earth" even though in original he is meant to be "God".

Okay due to the afforded time in lockdown got into DBZ properly in 1 episode per each two days and its mostly for pre-training motivation.
Can anyone answer why Vegeta's voice goes back to the raspy one around the beginning of Trunks saga rather than Sabat's deep husky one?
Really hope it returns.

I would watch Kai which is a condensed version with less DBZ filler, refined film cells and same voice actors now at their prime and experienced along with better to the point fighting and dialogue. Not for purists of course.

I actually didn't too much mind the filler in the original series so Kai was a bit offputting for me though still a good watch.
Will probably pick up the first season of this at some point.
