Official: Juventus sign Khedira

Juventus have officially announced the signing of German international Sami Khedira.

The midfielder is a free agent after leaving Real Madrid, and has agreed terms on a four-year deal with the Bianconeri.

“Juventus Football Club has today completed the signing of Sami Khedira,” a statement on the club’s official website confirmed.

“The 28-year-old, who will officially join from Real Madrid on a free transfer on 1 July 2015, has agreed terms on a four-year contract which expires on 30 June 2019.

“Khedira, who is normally deployed in front of the defence as a ball-winning midfielder, is able to cover a lot of ground while also possessing excellent passing and shooting ability, and great vision of the game.

“Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri is set to add a player of class, quality and international experience to his ranks, ready to enrich one of the strongest midfields in world football.”

What happens with Aleix Vidal now?

Nothing, he is going to rotate with Alves (starting January), and possibly even any position on the right (back up mid-right, or back up to Messi on the right...Pedro would back up the left wing)

Gives us a ton of options/depth.

The real question is, how long before we sell Montoya and Douglas now that neither is needed

Isnt that guy a handy little player. Only seen him when he plays for his NT. But in each of those instances he looked quite good. For a club like Swansea I reckon its an excellent piece of business, isnt it ?

They need Alves until Vidal can play and then they can rotate I don't see why is that a bad move O.o

It really is amazing how far Swansea have come in a short space of time. Less than 10 years ago they were playing in League One, now they're signing some of the best players of Ligue 1.
