i dont know if its just me. it maybe just me. but it seems there's very little excitement regarding transfer news at least in the past few years. There will be the big move like a haaland to city. But its like there's only that one significant move all year. The other big money moves that follow up are ones where you go "they're paying 50 million for who"?

A list of players transferred in the last couple of years, maybe 5 years that cost over say 50 million and how they performed in their new environments would be interesting. Even more interesting would be if one considered them huge stars before the deal or just above average players.

I could be wrong but these days I here about a transfer and I just feel like meh whatever.

I think that it just an outcome of today’s futbol financial situation. There are less than 10 teams that can afford to buy high priced talent and now you can add in Saudis and perhaps Miami. Further more these clubs pay much more in salaries than other teams. So moving surplus, sometimes deadwood from these teams can be difficult and costly. So with such a small and restrictive market, players are costing more than they should and probably other reality is there just isn’t a large quantity of top players! Just look at the top teams and add up the players that legitimately stand out regardless of their price tag!

Because there are no more sensations.

Some strange ones... Lucas Hernandez from Bayern to PSG? What a downgrade, n Arsenal gettign rid of their midfield? Sad to see money rules even more so now... basically some big players going to lower level leagues just to for money, not good....

Well we just talked about SMS on the forum like two days ago, so I'm obviously right.

If you really want to experience the new world of love and acceptance I suggest you book a weekend in France, or you can come to Serbia as we have the best minority of all, the gypsies.

Fulhan have extended William's contract for another year. That's a good decision, IMO. He's experienced and is still a great player, and played a key role for the team  last season.

You are talking about the player that even his most favorite fan said although he had talent, he was way too inconsistent to be considered a top player.

He can hardly be considered a coup, just another player in their declining years heading to a lower tier league that pays well.

This Saudi experience is no different than when Pele, Beckenbauer, etc went to USA for their semi retirement to pull in some serious retirement money.

These players do help bring in some fans and money in the short term, but in a short time, fans see it for what it is; a much lower level of futbol with the occasional glimpses of futbol skills. Just watch how long the Messi retirement club works out, in terms of futbol quality in another year!

Still kinda feel sorry for the guy... from the best performer in the league to being the biggest sub in the league... not easy to be able to perform n yet asked to warm the bench all the time

I'm surprised Henderson left Liverpool. Considering he was captain and had spent almost his entire career at them, I thought he's want to play for a few more years and retire with them. Since he has good leadership skills and is still a solid player for them at 32.

Harvey Barnes has just moved from Leicester to Newcastle.

That makes sense, since he's too good to play in the Championship. And playing for Newcastle could help him make it into the England squad.

Henderson has ridiculous ego for someone who is not very good. The second Klopp came to his senses and told him his role in the team will be diminished he threw away his entire PR standing with the LGBT community and fucked off to Saudi for money.

He's been useless for Liverpool for a while now. a Legit liability. His leadership skills are useless when he can't perform on the pitch.

Haven't been this happy about a player leaving the club since Lovren left.

I never thought Henderson was that good or indispensable to Liverpool.either He always seemed like a relic of Liverpool's banter era that somehow managed to hang around past his usefulness when he could have probably been discarded like Lallana, Lucas, Moreno etc..

Henderson survived because he's versatile and could fill a lot of roles , but I agree he's not any better than those guys
