Feel like this thread is needed when the game is out so we don't spam General Games Discussion

The game modes:

Heist: The criminals must break into a cash filled vault (or as featured in some maps, blow open the doors of an armoured truck) then move the cash filled packages to an extraction point; the police must stop them. If the Criminals manage to escape by bringing all the money to the extraction point they win.

Blood Money: Both factions must retrieve money from an open crate in the center of the map, then move it back to their respective side's armored truck. Players can also steal money from the opposing team's truck. The team that first deposits $5 million worth of money into their truck or the team with the most money under a time limit wins.

Hotwire Mode: Drivable cars take the role of traditional Conquest "flags." Like Conquest, capturing cars (done by driving above a certain "cruising" speed) will bleed the enemy team's reinforcement tickets. The team who reduces the other's to zero or who has the most tickets remaining after the time limit wins.

Rescue: In a 3 minute long 5 vs 5 competitive mode, S.W.A.T officers must try to rescue hostages held by criminal forces. The cops win by either rescuing the hostage(s) or by killing all the criminals. Criminals win by killing all the cops. Each player has only one life in this mode, that means no respawns.

Crosshair: The second competitive game mode in Battlefield Hardline. Crosshair is also 3 minutes long, 5 vs 5 with only one life. In Crosshair the criminals are trying to kill a player controlled VIP on the cops side who is a former gang member turned states witness. The criminals win by killing the VIP and the cops win by getting the VIP to the extraction point.

If i was playing it by myself i probably wouldn't buy it tbh. I had so much fun playing Heists with these guys though that i know it will be good.

So many lulz moments.

Yeah, this game is a lot of funs. Im loving the gun fights at least, even in the story mode. the pressure you feel when you get surrounded by 5-6 guys blasting at you is great. i havent touched the mp yet, will do that over the weekend.

I played so much far cry lately, which is a lot more fast paced, so im enjoying the slower action in bf.

so how do you play battlefield, I tried the beta for a bit..haven't played a BF in years though properly

is run and gun viable or do you sit back and take your time, I swear I remember just constantly being sniped from 3000 miles away in BF3

You won't be sniped to hell if you play the gamemodes we will, because it's a lot more infantry based with closed fights objectives.

If you play conquest on the other hand you will lol.

played one TDM game. Was pretty fun with the map they made it to.

Another thing I like about Hardline is that each gamemode got their own 1-3 goat maps (not counting generic tdm & conquest shit)

Played lots of mehwire to grind for my mechanic class.

Played 1 tdm, lots of zzzwire & a alot of rescue which is a goat gamemode btw.

Can't wait to play Heist, Blood money, Rescue & Crosshair with you lads tomorrow, especially Rescue & Crosshair with only 1 life per round

Won't be smashing this hardcore until next month where I guarantee one of 2 things happen

I book 2 weeks off, which with my shift pattern is more like 3 and a half weeks

I get the new job i'm applying for, which is 3 days a week sooo i have plenty of time

Until then i'll prob buy it next week and just get myself familiar again with the game and get some decent classes unlocked and geared up
