The Road to Fourth-place Trophy
There are 10 games left in the Premier League and we are 5th, two points off Manchester United in 4th.
As we know, finishing in the magical Champions League spots makes a big, big difference. If you are in the Champions League it means you are part of the elite, bringing home the big bucks and the best players. If you're not there, you dream about being there. We made our long-awaited return to the Champions League this season, even if that campaign ended in a disappointing note. But it's time to dream again, dream about being right back in there next season, stronger and readier. Showing the footballing world that Liverpool FC didn't just peek into the party of the elite from the front door, but is making a lasting return right to the limelight.
Ten games left to make the season a success by securing that top-4 finish. Every game is huge and the winners take it all.
Our remaining PL games are:
March 16: Swansea (a)
March 22: Manchester United (h)
April 4: Arsenal (a)
April 13: Newcastle (h)
April 18: Hull City (a)
April 25: West Brom (a)
May 2: QPR (h)
May 9: Chelsea (a)
May 16: Crystal Palace (h)
May 24: Stoke (a)
Let's go.

GTFI
I think winning 7 of the remaining 10 games should be enough to get us top 4.

Re: The Road to Fourth-place Trophy
my biggest concern is losing Skrtel vs. Blackburn with that tall dude playing for them.
We need to win the FA Cup...I don't care about anything else.

I think we will manage to go through against Balckburn, somehow we would do it. But my concern is whether we will give any kind of fight at all for top 4

Re: The Road to Fourth-place Trophy
I think top-4 is gone, too few games remaining and five of them are on the road, two of which against Arsenal and Chelsea, the two best teams in the league right now.
A draw against United would have been enough to keep us within a realistic chance, but five points is too much.
I can see us winning all three of our home games and get maybe 9-10 points from the five away games. Something like 18 points out of possible 24. I think United will get about 14-15 points from their last eight games, which would still be enough to keep us behind.

Re: The Road to Fourth-place Trophy
Home (4) : Aston Villa, Manchester City, West Bromwich Albion, Arsenal
Away (4) : Chelsea, Everton, Crystal Palace, Hull City
those are their remaining fixtures. In bold are the fixtures against top 4 where potentially they could drop points. Remaining 5 fixtures are easy on paper but we will need extreme luck that they drop points there also. The only way we can overtake them is, beat one of Chelsea or Arsenal. I think if we bounce back from this defeat and go on another good run, we will come close but in the end just fall short by 1-2 points. So top 4 looks extremely difficult.
