He is the total package. Not on these guys level yet, but they're prob 3 of the greatest the last 15-20 years, so that's an unfair thing to hold against him. Rollins is the only legit douchy/scummy heel right now, and he's really good at everything he does.

It's like you call Ronaldo the total package. And he's not really GOAT in anything except scoring goals. Having the whole package just means you're good at everything and great at some of those things, which Rollins definitely is.

You list 3 things, which is basically the same thing. Which is something that's 90% dependent on the writing. Unless you're a GOAT on mic like Jericho or Punk.

it's a 33/33/33 percentage in In rich ability, personality and look in my opinion. You need to be able to deliver entertaining matches, do great promos and look the part and look believable. Rollins has 2 parts of that done, and the last part could be improved with the writing improving.

They're not the same thing imo.

Mic skills = talking ability. CM Punk, Jericho, Rock, Austin, Heyman etc.

Persona = Your character and what makes you unique. Stone Cold Steve Austin was a brash violent redneck who drank beer, cussed etc.

Bray Wyatt's a cult leader who preaches with riddles.

The Undertaker's a deadman.

Ambrose is a crazy lunatic.

Mick Foley was a deranged guy who wore a mask.

Acting cowardly is NOT a persona, that's a characteristic of a heel. Bray Wyatt can act cowardly while at the same time he has his own persona.



Charisma = A rare/unique quality that inspires a lot of people. E.g. Bryan is hugely charismatic, because people connect with him for a unique reason. Jeff Hardy was hugely charismatic. Hogan, Cena etc.


Rollins is good in ring, but like I said, he has average charisma and mic skills and no persona.

You're obviously just hating. What about him is so average?
Also cowardly is not really an adjective you can use to describe a character that uses his MITB contract in an ongoing match.

Your problems seems more like a problem you have with the writing that Rollins himself.

You can't be great on mic without personality though, which is why it is so related. Same with charisma, if you've got it, good writing and good creative solution can make you a better worker on the mic, much like helped The Rock after his failure at first.

Hardy was hugely over, unlike Rollins, who gets decent heat at best.

Rollins isn't a face yet though, so it remains to be seen whether he'll be just as over. Thing with Hardy was he was much more fast paced, colourful, energetic etc, so fans related to him. Rollins is more methodical, bland, less flashy, less in your face and not all that outgoing, so yeh... there's that. But I really do think Rollins would be better off as a face, he just has that underdog look where you want to route for him.  

Anyway my problem with Rollins is basically his average mic skills and his lack of uniqueness. I don't like bland cowardly heels with no persona, It's the same with Reigns, except he's a bland superman face and he's also average in the ring.

Both need to spend time in the midcard so they can work on their mic skills / character. Straight swap for Ambrose / Wyatt.

I don't see why cowardly is such a bad thing anyway, Edge played as a cowardly heel his whole damn solo career to absolute perfection.

Being cowardly isn't necessarily a bad thing. I don't have a problem with somebody being cowardly. The problem is most heels in recent years have mostly been bland and have lacked a persona. The only thing they do is.. well.. be cowardly/cocky and that's not really a persona. It's a characteristic of a heel, just like being courageous is a characteristic of a face.

A persona + cowardly heel = perfect. Bray Wyatt as a heel can act cowardly all he wants, because he has a persona that makes him unique. Rollins doesn't. Now don't get me wrong, you don't need an over the top gimmick such as being a dancer or a dentist, you just need to be unique when it comes to personality imo.

Also Edge had goat mic skills unlike Rollins.

Seth Rollins is arguably the funnest guy to watch in the ring along with Lesnar. He makes all his opponents look amazing with his selling, I mean look at this:

He makes his opponents look a million bucks. He's improved on the mic compared to when he first started, he's really confident now, but he does lack charisma, I agree with that. No personality when he speaks.

But I am loving his heel work atm. Him and J&J security crack me up, great slimy heel.

Except his persona and mic skills are nowhere near as bad as you are saying, besides he's better than some of the people you like in that area.

I just can't take you seriously when you are known Bryan fan and keep going on about charisma and mic skills when his personality is dull as dish water.

Bray, Ambrose and Sandow are much better entertainers (mic skills, persona, charisma, acting etc) than Rollins.

Also Bryan happens to be one of the most charismatic performers on the roster, which is why he's hugely over. Some people don't need mic skills or personality to get over. Hardy, Rey Mysterio and RVD are others who didn't have it all but had lots of charisma. That's why I think Rollins would be better off as a face, his in ring ability and underdog appeal could get him over.
