Torres left for trophies. Torres won trophies. He may have "flopped" personally, but his goals / ambitions of winning silverware were met so it wasn't exactly a failure of him forcing a move.

the thing about Americans is, they love too much themselves, their image and money...so City are Sterling are going to have a difficult time !

And what grounds would Settling have to 'feud' with Rodgers anyway? Letting him fly off to Jamaica mid season? Giving him his breakthrough with Sturridge and Suarez? Giving him too much game time?

I think Sterling really has talent to become something special. It is just a question, whether he will have that kind of support and atmosphere at City to become something like that because one patch of bad form is going to burden you all the time because of that 49m value.
