For next match we have as banned players Kovacic , Juan Jesus and Ranocchia

Sorry just for the first .

ACMRox wrote:If that was Menez and this was Milan-Juve I would be furious, what's surprising to me was that Guarin took Icardi's side and Osvaldo ran down the tunnel (presumably in shame) right after the whistle.

Osvaldo is really an idiot. When you think he is changing , he betrays . I think we won't get hack him from Southampton.

He could be a great CF , but when his brain doesn't work it is a great problem

I can't wait to read about Osvaldo fighting with a sword against his teammates ...

Kovacic is still inconsistent (tbh I don't remind  a Balcanic talent not inconsistent in my life Laughing even the best players as Savicevic ...  ) but the progresses are clear for who watched him since his first year in Italy.
I admitt to not have seen progresses by Juan Jesus, or other young players, but the growth by Kovacic for performances and impact on match is clear.
Even the stats testify it .. 0 goal last years, already 4 as Pogba this year.
Anyway I think this is not our best position  . He is not a AM , maybe he can became him .. . but he imho he is what we call " mezz ala " in Italia, a CM.  Mazzarri developed him as CM/mezz ala after time ( at beginning he was deployed as trequartista / CAM , then he changed idea , luckily)  and it was the best thing made by Mazzarri under Inter ( probably the only one) .  He played his best performances in that role. Mancini deploys him as CAM and meh .. still not so convinced tbh . He struggled also with Croatia as trequartista. He needs of pitch for his great progression. Hernanes is surely more CAM than him , seen in Lazio.
Yeah  Kovacic scored 2 goals as trequartista under Mancini tbh but one was scored with a shot from outside area.
Mancini is usually good to recognize talents, I hope he will be right

Toto goes on hot patches and then on slight droughts. Currently he's on a bit of a drought. But once he get going again he'll start scoring hattricks and braces left and right.

I have my money on him winning as well. Tevez is the biggest obstacle.

Handanovic is best GK Serie A atm IMHO.

Once Podolski came on and we switched on to 4231 we looked like a completely different team, we would have won but im not getting greedy. It should be a smooth sail from now on for Inter, and with shaqiri joining soon i can only be optimistic. CL dream is still alive

Podolski was fairly good, he did exactly what we needed him to do, which is create width and put pressure on the full backs.

Interesting fact:
The Nerazzurri have fought back four times from a goal down in just eight Mancio games in charge, but did this only four times in 37 under Walter Mazzarri

As much as I hate Inter.. and that is ALOT haha i admire their team and they really took it too us today. I would be dissapointed to see Napoli/Lazio get the CL play off ahead of them as I think inter's team has a little bit more quality then Napoli's or Lazio's .Ad Shaqiri in their and they deceant depth and can change formation. A team on the up for sure

Gazzetta dello Sport votes on Derby d'Italia.
D'Ambrosio can't have same vote than Ranocchia and Juan Jesus though.. for me he was our best player yesterday after Handanovic

Considering that spending 15M for Fiorentina is like spending 50M for Chelsea and that Gomez was considered WC or close to it before his move, he's pretty much the new Torres. Squandering almost every chance, ruining every attack, "forcing" the manager to ostracize a younger and promising and already more useful player in Babacar (Sturridge comes in mind) only because his price tag and reputation.

On a sidenote though, Inter wasn't playing any better than in the first half until that sole moment of Icardi. Coming out of the blue it was a shock for us, couldn't handle it, it was more of a mental thing. I don't think Inter improved much, more like we ruined everything for ourselves.

Shame we have zero pace and creativity, which is why we should have had a pair of adequate *bleep* wingers years ago, pathetic short sighted crap from the board really. I think I said in 2013 we had a huge weakness that anybody could see and here we are in 2015 we're only just moving away from the 3-5-2 but thanks to our shit transfer strategy we can barely make a sideways step.

Tbh if we exclude 6 months wonders such as Krasic and Pepe, Juve hasn't had proper wingers since Nedved and Camoranesi

Milos Nedved Proud

Yes it's ridiculous, but at least under Del Neri we seemed interested in getting our width sorted out, shame everything else was a joke then.

No matter how good your CMs are, if you have zero threat out wide, have to play a *bleep* full back as a makeshift winger in attack and have a useless 6 foot 5 log upfront who can head the ball BUT have nobody able to feed him crosses, you can only do so much

Which is why we'd honestly improve our team with a pair of good wingers. They don't have to be World Class, or amazing. Just a pair of decent wingers who can take their man on and counter with pace. Honestly it's pathetic that we haven't addressed our wide areas but seem content with making sure we have a 7th choice CB or a 9th choice midfielder ready to use twice per season.

this

unfortunately even if we signed a bunch of turtles on loan + option to buy for 6 cents and a dollar for full purchase, you can bet there are some who won't see that Marotta has lost it (which he already has anyways)

and will hail the purchase like we signed 2003 Ronaldinho, how long has that man promised quality and always failed always looking to get rejected "bargains", how long can we keep doing that, yet instead people are happy he signs the garbage like Perreyra for 17m

i mean Inter who haven't played CL in a while beating us to Shakiri whilst we are begging to sign Sneidjer Laughing

alas the hope is when Messi is 38 we can finally call him from retirement and give him a 2yr 15m/season contract to Turin till he is 40, perhaps his jerseys will still be a marketing tool by then...

Pereyra has been great considering that he's new at his club, is fifth choice midfielder and has played four different position, plus he can play on the wings to, not sure why you call him garbage.
But yea, Juve are probably the only team in CL that doesn't use wings and I don't think it will change with Allegri, with exceeding numbers of CBs, STs...reverting back to 3-5-2 is more likely im afraid.

It seemed  a bit the replay of  that Juve-Inter 1-3 to me tbh  , I was realizing it during match
Juve who scores immediately, it goes close to score but a great Handanovic avois it ( Vidal in 2012 , Pogba now) , in 2nd half  Inter scores and after that goal Juve disappears ( it was a mental fragility rarely seen under Conte, but it can be just an episode) with Inter to have better chances. But Icardi is not Milito...
Basically tie was right because it was an half time for each but at the same time both aren't satisfied because they feel to have lost 2 points more  than earned one , although for different reasons
Good match anyway with the typical agonism worthy of Derby d'Italia , in this match you can even seeing Kovacic getting a direct red card.

Yep pretty much my thoughts, really looked like it is going to be an epic collapse after sitting on a one goal difference, just like in 2012.

Juan Jesus banned for 4 matches by the way (for elbowing Chiellini)
