Ozil and hazard have had more time to come back down to earth and have their flaws exposed than Alexis


Right now, yeah I'd say Alexis has hit higher highs than either of them for sure. But they were lighting it up for the first couple of months they've moved here too

I'm still not ready to declare him goat or anything. I know he's carrying the team and just destroying right now. But I've seen players who have been carrying teams and destroying fade into scrubbery at the drop of a hat too many times recently to get too excited yet

He has a long way to go to catch up to aguero for an overall prem career.. But he's definitely the most on form right now for sure

how about madrid ozil? his touch and play is so classy that even mou didn't dare to ask more from him on 'work ethic', didn't happen to hazard.

hazard and sanchez will be better than ozil in term of 'match winner' thou, because formation were picked or team were built around them. they are supposed to be centre of spotlight, and sanchez nailed it, kudos for him.
on technical part alone, i will still pick ozil.

I think you're both wrong in terms of the extremes which you go into.

Sanchez was good at Udinese (his last season included or not, doesn't matter), but certainly not anything far better than what he was at Barca. Farfan, Sanchez really grew as a player at Barca imo and anyone who disputes that is rather blinded by the fact that Barca remains a special club with a special style and it is undoubtedly, without a question, that anyone who goes there will learn something imo.

And also on the other hand, he was good at Barca but Barca didn't learn him everything. Yes, he had a rough start to his career there and went through a bad patch without scoring, but saying Barca is the sole reason why he is the player which he is today is rather close-minded reasoning from your part Fussball.

If that came across like that I'll clarify, because I definitely didn't mean to say Barca is the "sole reason" for what he is today. Most of the praise should be directed towards the player himself and his hard working mentality anyway. All I'm saying is Alexis became a better footballer at Barcelona which is obviously normal when a 22 year old talent joins a club like Barca from a midtable Italian club and competes for major titles at the highest level alongside proven world class players. Especially his finishing has only really improved towards the end of 2013. Before Tata he wasn't scoring almost every game as he is doing now. At Udinese he scored 1/3 of his season tally in one (rigged ) game. That's why I said "Barca made him the player he is today", because it took a long time until he started playing like this regularly.

The problem with that is that even when he was struggling for Barca he was still bossing for Chile. So while Barca certainly improved him, we never really saw him play for us at full capacity or even his preferred position most of the time.

Mid-level club player, Arsenal is right fit for him

Ozil has higher highs than either but also lower lows. If he could be consistent and had a bit of work ethic he'd be the best player in the EPL pretty easily IMO.

Ozil is more talented than both. On technical level he is one of the best in the world. But talent doesn't always result in performances like few have said. Sanchez's work ethic is incredible while Hazard isn't bad either. That's why both have been doing better than Ozil. Along with tactical decisions obviously.

We still haven't seen Ozil's best at Arsenal.

ozil at his best is pure master class and better than both, i think he had it too easy at madrid, especially after the success the team went on after he left, needs to work harder or get into a more talented team, its kinda hurts seeming him struggle so much

as for alexis got tired of him scoring on us, the guys is a baller, always had been hope he continues to outperform hazard

All of the 3 looked like beta players until this season, now Sanchez and Hazard are turning into more decisive players. Idk about Ozil, I'm on the same boat as everyone, I have no idea how good he actually is. He was really bad in the second half of last season and he was awful in the WC.

I was a Alexis hater, but he is goating atm, truth be told.

Sanchez is a top player, but he looks so much better because of how bad Arsenal are.

He shouldn't be getting the same hype as Suarez did last year, as Suarez carried his team much higher, with a squad arguably worse.

I was wrong about him, I thought he would have been legit but not so much , great signing.
Expecially, I realized he is much more cynical than before,  he had always great quality but basically he was good to create chances  .. now he can play very good both SS and CF at same way .  I thought Arsenal needed od a CF  mainly because I underrated this his improvement.
Used to that Sanchez seen in Udinese ... great , but not so completed as now.

Alexis improved DESPITE barça , not thanks to them .

Liverpool last season had not only arguably but a significantly better squad, without Suarez, than this Arsenal squad. C'mon last season was not just Suarez as much as people make fun of Liverpool, they had a strong team and a good consistent style of play.

Nothing like this Arsenal team who are absolutely rubbish tactically and technically. One player can only take you THIS far.

Of course. Clearly he would be a much better player had he stayed with Udinese under the tactical master Guidolin and world class talents such as Di Natale and... umm... yeah...
