Ozil Di Maria or Ozil kaka ?

considering di maria will be back and fit in some weeks whats your prefference?

we used to play something like this

di maria - ozil - ronaldo
benz/pipita

now :

ozil - kaka - ronaldo
benz/pipita

ozil against barcelona was just badass but we all know di maria's quality so...

Di Maria's stats are out of this world. Can't nobody hold him down.

all of them are good, i dont want maria to start yet, tomorow i want the benguain.

Kaka still hasn't done anything to impress me

Has Kaka even once played as well as Di Maria has this season?

what made ozil-kaka look so good was how well ozil exploited the wing, not so much anything kaka did except push ozil outside.

how about ronaldo--gotze--ozil, ronaldo--canales--ozil, ronaldo--sarabia--ozil

i would have loved to see ronaldo--vdv--ozil

please no one respond negatively to this post. i dont care if you dont like vdv or dont think hes any good.

Di Maria is great. But he's too predictable. His assists are nice.
But he loses the ball frequently, tries to dribble past many players, and kills our build up play time and time again.

He would hinder our current play style.

Kaka has some great games, but he's inconsistent

Di Maria was by far the best player of the 1st half of the season, I can only imagine the orgasms he will create with in-form Ozil

Ozil hasnt been playing as a winger, sure hes been inclined a bit wide but he definitely has not been a winger


Di Maria is capable of playing in the center regardless, he had some great performances there before his injury

Ozil has been best when in the middle not out on the flanks

You just summed up Kaka lmao.

ozil against barcelona played as a right "winger" i think
at least he was using mostly the right flank therefore humiliating abidal as well.

we scored our goals against Barca when Ozil moved into the middle

Kaka when he was playing poor. As of recently he's been playing more consistent.
Of course not like Milan Kaka but nonetheless Ozil + Kaka is doing great for us.

I can't help but worry that if Di Maria comes back all we had is going to be lost

I'd love to see this just once! We had 72% possession vs Zaragoza with just Kaka and Özil. Now imagine this..

I think you're underrating him. He does way more good than harm to our offence. He's not bad defensively either, even with his weak stature. So when he goes on those semi-frequent solo-runs where he usually loses possession (but at other times sets up or scores awesome goals), he's good at following it up down the flank. I think he works a lot more for the team than he gets credit for. Yeah, he's a noodle and a diver and sometimes an egoist but he's a brilliant egoistic diver noodle.

He's haphazard.
