Moutinho-Kondogbia destroyed us

We can't go in CL with Coquelin-Cazorla. Wish Wilshere was fit.

Sportczy kinda called it. Monaco were really organised in defence and midfield (I personally don't have time to watch Ligue 1 Sad ) and it showed today. I also forgot how lovely a midfielder Moutinho is. Think the only mistake I saw Kondogbia do is turn his back to Oxlade for his goal who subsequently messed up for Monaco's 3rd goal.

But the highlight of the day is listening to Sky Sports commentary and who I think was Gary Neville (I assume it is, sounded like him). Poor guy really sounded dejected.

You want to hear something even funnier.

This wasn't even the biggest upset of the night. Atleti are a million times better than Arsenal. So the giant killing happened in North Rhine-Westphalia.

This was a tie between two 2nd tier clubs.

The media are gonna treat it as some sort of a David and Goliath Laughing

Atleti losing was NOT an upset.

They haven't been playing well for a while.

He is one of the best conductor of attacks at Arsenal. He can change the tempo of the game and drive the midfield forward. His technical qualities would have fared better against Moutinho and Kondogbia.

Monaco are a pain in the arse to play... they really are.  I live close and have been to 6 games live.  Let me tell you:  I got bored in all of them Laughing

Jardim is a fantastic coach.  Very young team, completely demoralized due to summer transfers, awful start...  and then wins CL group and has most points in Ligue since Nov 1 (better than PSG, Lyon and OM). They were right at relegation at that point keep in mind.

They have a formula and every player gives 100% into it.

Remember that Toulalan, Carvalho and Raggi were injured plus Kurzawa and Carrasco didn't start due to knocks.  This was Monaco's B team.

Atletico lost 1-0 away. Arsenal lost 3-1 at home. It will be much harder for Arsenal to win the tie that in will be for Atletico.

They park the bus in every game Doc regardless of the opponent... it's like watching robots play.

You think Barca play tactically rigid... Monaco are just as rigid except it's catenaccio.

I understand why... but it's not fun to watch.  When they win, it's almost always 1-0 Laughing

A real tactical suicide by Wenger.

High defence with Mertesacker, this Mertesacker ( really awful this year).and you can't playing with this midfield in Europe.

Well , we're talking about Wenger. He made basically nothing in Europe even with Thierry Henry in his prime and the Arsenal of Invincibles.
It is not his DNA.

I'm not going to say anything because in typical GL fashion I'll get called out for scapegoating or knee-jerking.

Let's just class this under the usual occurrence in Arsenal's season. Nothing extraordinarily bad, just another typical Arsenal season.
Nothing to see here lads, let's move on.

Oh god, here we go again.

For Arsenal fans who call me a hater or what ever or say that I hate Wilshere etc these are the completely insane comments which comes from your fan base.

Cazorla being moved centrally has basically saved your season your scoring is up 1 million percent and you let in way fewer goals when Jack is benched and Santi plays yet he is catching blame and Wilshere is now "one of the best conductors of attacks at Arsenal and he drives the ball forward."

I mean don't even pay attention to the fact Santi is almost in double digit assists since he was moved centrally and Wilshere well really can't score and doesn't assist plus is out of position constantly as seen against Dortmond when they got run through horribly.

But yes, if Wilshere were healthy against all logic he would have showed better than Santi.

I can't wait until Santi leaves this joke of a fan base. It's literally non-stop from Wilshere fanboys. The guy has accomplished nothing in an Arsenal shirt, not one thing. But the game would have been different had he played.

What a joke, really. The fact no arsenal fans are even standing up for Santi is all you need to know about the situation.
