CIA Torture Report

Was reading about it. Shocking stuff. Some of the torture methods makes you wonder what's the difference between the terrorists and the CIA officials.

The fact they admitted it was wrong while no one had any clue what was going on makes it even worse.

Hopefully those who were part of it gets appropriate punishment.

Abhorrent. It's a pity how dependent a person's sensitivity is on these matters comes down to their political allegiance in so many cases. I've seen republicans refuse to acknowledge these atrocities, reminiscent to lefties turning a blind eye to Castro's torture. Shame

It's worth noting though, that partisanship does not ALWAYS win out.

Truly said state of affairs when politicians, too scared to use the word torture for something that plainly was that started using "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques" and then referring to that as EITs. Double speak Orwell would have been proud of.

Two weeks later many of the same politicians that condoned these acts want to keep severing ties with Cuba over their human rights record. And many of the ones that hate torture favor re-opening the ties with Cuba.
