I don't think I'll be getting this game.

It's apparently bang average at best lol, a lot of people will buy it though because it has elder scrolls in the title.

And Uncharted This is great for people who switched from 360 to PS4. I believe someone in this forum was asking whether the trilogy will get remastered for PS4.

Finished Wolfenstein: The New Order, good game imo.

Have to say, Dragon Age Inquisition is quite good. The fetch quests are only in one area of the game which unfortunately is the starting area so people have the perception the game is filled with them. The story is very impressive, one of the best Bioware ever done imo.

I think the only similarity the games have is the fantasy setting. Dragon Age you create your own character from scratch, a human, elf or dwarf, male or female while in Witcher you had Geralt. The combat is very different, you always have 3 companions who accompany you and your class (warrior, mage, rogue) will dictate your how you fight enemies. Fighting is more tactical than Witcher too. The open world is quite big, obviously not as big as Witcher. There is no one big map, there are a collection of smaller maps spanning two nations. The maps are filled with quests to do and demons, dragons and giants to fight. The conversation system is like Mass Effect and you can initiate friendship or romances with your party members and do specific companion quests. The story is really good and as Inquistior you can do stuff like send others to do missions, determine fate of prisoners, customize your castle, gather resources etc

One of my friend is obsessed with CS:Go knives and skins. Spent like £60 on the boxes and yet to get the rare ones.

I like DAI, but honestly, the fetch quests are on every single map in the game. The majority of the quests are fetch quests, and there are tons of collectible items, not to mention having to collect ore and herbs for potions and weapons/armor, which is something that becomes a very tedious and boring task after a while. Collecting herbs is definitely faster and easier to do in The Witcher 3, thus not as bothersome.

DAI introduced a top-down strategical system to try and add more depth to battles, but I grew tired of using it very fast, and it makes battles frustratingly and unnecessarily long. I enjoyed using different classes and trying out new spells in DAI, but the battles are very automated when you don't use the tactical system. You basically just press one or two buttons and wait for cooldowns to clear, so that you can push them again. It's not a bad combat system at all, but it's not exactly a challenging one either. There are a few things I like more about Dragon Age Inquisition than The Witcher 3, but overall there's no contest. The Witcher 3 is a far superior game.

I actually think the online mode in DAI is pretty decent, but it becomes repetitive fast. A lot of people seem to really dislike the online mode, and I understand why, but I enjoyed playing it for a while before I realized how repetitive it is, and how pointless it is to continue playing it once you've unlocked all of the classes and gotten a decent amount of good equipment. The point of it is to improve your gear and unlock new classes, and you do so by repeating the same 3-4 maps over and over and over again, until they release more through DLC
