Re: Roberto Firmino
But its just 22m pounds as of now, Will rise to 29m max. 40m euros makes it sound bad.

Remains to be seen whether that '13-'14 season with 16 goals was "an accident", but anyway, I'm glad we've signed him. €40m, that is a massive fee, though, does anyone know where it ranks in Bundesliga's records?
Bundesliga top deals:
1. Firmino> Liverpool €41m
2. Martinez> Bayern €40m
3. Gotze> Bayern €37m
4. Dzeko> City €37m
5. Gomez> Bayern €35m
It'll be worth it if he turns up good but a massive investment either way.

Re: Roberto Firmino
I hope the deal reaches 41M euros eventually. Because that means all add ins are active which indicates he's been a success. Gladly would pay that extra 10M euro to Hoffe

Has he had a good game for the past 18 months? He was poor in Bundi and, watching all of Brazil's Copa games, he's been bad all of those too. That's a lot of meh play for a while now... I thought Costa looked good the few mins he's gotten. Far more dynamic.

Re: Roberto Firmino
He is not even really a CF, but i guess he will play behind sturridge (when he is fit), that's the idea yes?
because as a CF i would take Martial over him any day

He's a left winger (preparinf for dissent lol), attacking midfielder, second striker. He didn't play CF for Hoffenheim.

Re: Roberto Firmino
1 goal in 2 starts is not bad lol and he has been great every time he played for us bar colombia, which was a nightmare game for everyone
i have never watched a full hoffeinheim game so i cant say a thing about his performances there

Re: Roberto Firmino
tbh if he was called 'Firminho' instead of Firmino all those people going 'who's this scrub?' would be pretending to have rated him "since his first season at Figueirense"

Lol what? He's been good for Brazil outside of one game (Neymar was awful in that game too is he terrible as well?) and he was poor in the BuLi? ...only one of its highest rated players by every metric available and most fans, but ok.
Here is a good game for you, and it wasn't even that hard to find and I don't watch Hoffenheim:
Dat masterful dribbler

Re: Roberto Firmino
Dribbling stats in Bundesliga
He might be good, but average players dribble the shit out of defenders in Bundesliga.

Re: Roberto Firmino
Also important to know where these dribbles are happening lol.
When Ben Arfa played every week he used to average like 8 a game because our off the ball movement was shite and he'd play so deep that he'd dribble past 4 players and he was still 30 yards from goal
Cheers Pardew.

Raffael, brother of Ronny, Hertha legends.
He's Favre's favourite.
Not a future goat though as he's gotten quite old being decent in Bundesliga year in year out.
