Re: UEFA Youth Champions League Thread 14/15
Liverpool should have won. Same problems as the first team right now in that they're creating a lot of scoring chances but not finishing, and then they're conceding easy goals on set pieces or individual mistakes. Worrying to say the least. I didn't like the team selection either, and they fell apart after Rossiter was subbed off.
Oh well, they should still advance but that was a bad loss that they should have won IMO.

I do like that the knock out phase is one match instead of two

So it will be Chelsea vs Shahktar in the final, after Chelsea 4-0 victory over Roma and Shahktar 3-1 victory.
Chelsea are huge favorites led by: Boga-French Messi, Musonda- Belguim Ineista, Ruben-loftus Cheek- English Yaya, Solanke- English Diego Costa.

Young Roma was never at the races from what I read of this match. Chelsea dominated from start to finish.
Good showing from these lads anyway though. Very proud of them, as aare many Romanisti...they went on a run that I could only dream about with the senior squad.
