HAHA i read that bs line aswell, I dont know about Marveux but Cabaye is getting 50k which is less than Nolan and Demba Ba is getting 40 max.

Ashley is just a money hungry whore, which is why i still cant believe we had a 10 million for Gamiero accepted earlier in summer.

Quite often transfer fees are structured. Where payments are spread out over a period of time.

Maybe the Carrol one was also.

Like us when we sold bent. The deal was for 28 mill but it is spread out over a number of years.

The first payment we received went to Spurs, Sunderland wont actually see any money for them selfs until next year.

I get that but it's still alot more than the zilch we have spent on transfer fee's so far lol.......

Doyle is under-rated tbh...I think he could easily get 12-15 goals a season in a top team

To tell you the truth, i wanted him at Newcastle before we signed Demba Ba.

But seeing him linked with sides like Juventus and Arsenal is quite hilarious.

Cant remember off the top of my head but Blackburn were linked with some players they had no chance of signings aswell
