Re: EURO 2016 qualifiers
Group B situation
Belgium 20
Wales 18
Bosnia 14
Israel 13
Cyprus 12
Israel bottled it. A point meant to keep the advantage on Bosnia (they won 3-0 the head to head ), but they lost a match in last minutes when they had just got the tie (after 240 seconds).
But these are 3 important points even for Cyprus , on paper even they could still get the 3rd place
I never would have imagined the Cyprus with 12 points a day ... The football is incredibly developed there.

Not yet. If Turkey lose and Netherlands win the next match, then Turkey are out and Netherlands through.RealGunner wrote:On the other hand. Netherlands are out officially.

We have made a lot of progress in the last decade Robes and football here is still developing ! If it wasn't for the economic and political issues, Cyprus football would've been much better than it currently is. To think that we are a country with population of just 1 million and yet manage to constantly have AT LEAST 1 team in European competitions be it the Champions League or the Europa League from 2008 and onwards, that says a lot. You simply can't imagine how passionate we Cypriots are for football. I don't know what the exact numbers are but I believe we are among the top 5 nations where the majority of the population watch football.

Will we have Croatians cheering on the Azzurri when they play Norway in Rome?

How well are Italy playing, these days? I watched the Norway VS Malta game today, and Norway played like complete and utter crap. Calling it anti-football would be an understatement.

Re: EURO 2016 qualifiers
Italy: 49 matches not losing in a row in Euro qualifiers. Plus, tie Spain in 12 times in a row qualifyng for the Euro. Too bad, in the final tournament these numbers mean nothing

Re: EURO 2016 qualifiers
Frantic first half so far between Poland and Ireland. Krychowiak put Poland ahead with a good strike, then Ireland got a bullshit penalty straight after to make it 1-1.
Ireland need to win to go through automatically; Poland only need a point.

Re: EURO 2016 qualifiers
Martial "suddenly" looks elite lol
He obviously is still young and there is no need to hype him more than his price tag already does, but he really looks like one of the best players on the pitch here.
The way he attacks in the 1 v 1 and how he tries to play 1-2s and combinations.
Jacobsen is dog shit right back though so I am sure he is super confident.

A shocking moment in Poland/Ireland as Lewandowski scores.
Can't wait to play against this guy in a week or so

Don't think Wass is going to play it, much better as a midfielder. But I'd even pick him over. I'd go for Alexander Scholz who did really well for the u-21 team.
