Gladbach were interested in Poulsen, but AFAIK he turned them down as RB Leipzig paid more. (RB Leipzig are officially RasenBallsport Leipzig, but in truth RedBull Leipzig...)

I'm astonished that RedBull allowed him to leave for the U21. They talked two German starlets (Davie Selke and Willie Orban) into staying at home and rather doing the pre-season with RB Leipzig.

Our u21 team has played together for like 6 years all of them. And it means a lot for them I think, ever since they lost out to Portugal for u20 WC. So that probably had something to do with it. Hope he's not badly injured and it's just a cramp.
