Sterling all day everyday for me. Sterling is what 19 year old and already important player for Liverpool and is playing extremely well for a player of that age, there are only one or two U-20 players who are better than him, all over the world.

Shaqiri is a good player but every time i see him he doesnt strike me as a world beater in the making.. Probably the same reason Bayern are willing to let him go,wont make Bayern first 11 ever.

Ive been reading all the news concering shaqiri and every page is saying a different thing. What we know is that Bayern's asking price is 17m, Inter's last offer is 2m now and 12m in the summer with an additional 1m if we make the CL, Liverpool has offered 14-15m cash and Bayern like their offer more. It is certain that Shaqiri prefers Inter but how hard he'll push for the move is unknown. Liver has offered him 3.5m in wages while Inter is paying 2 plus bonuses. Nike has also stepped in to support Inter's offer (not sure if money or otherwise) but I'm not sure how true is that. One thing is certain though, Shaqiri's future is far from settled atm

So Kramaric is going direct to Leicester rather than Chelsea and then on loan. Good choice for him, but I have to wonder why a team like Liverpool wouldn't take a punt on the guy. He's a goal scoring machine and not expensive at all.

Also in reference to above...I can't think of a U20 player in the world, currently, that is better than Sterling. Certainly there are a few with more potential, but even then he's got to be near the top.

Yeah well that's because most of the top known kids just turned 21 like the french ones in Pogba, Varane, etc. Most people don't look at U20 but U23 when they think of young players.

But there are a lot of other that are still 20 and younger: Hachim Mastour, Lucas Digne, Marquinihos, Aleksandar Mitrović, Ryan Gauld, Alen Halilovic, Munir El Haddadi, Oliver Torres, Meyer, Zouma, Murru, Romagnoli, Berardi, Bernardeschi, Chambers, Shaw, Avdijaj, Jose Rodriguez, Jese Rodriguez, Coman, Rabiot, Ongenda, Martial, Cragno,... and there are lots more. I only listed some of the best Italian, Spanish, German, English and French talents.

Sure, but none of them are better than Sterling currently.

lmao Sterling shits on all the kids you mention Sportz. Please don't mention nobodies to me and act as if they are gonna be anything special. Only kids deserve that sort of hype is when they go absolutely balls to the walls crazy as a teenager for the first team.

we both know Sterling is the main man at your club because with Suarez sold, Sturridge injured and Gerrard in retirement mode you are a team devoid of any other top players.

Doesn't matter, bring in Ongenda for example to Pool and he wouldn't be allowed to clean Sterling's boots.

Too much hype for kids, 90% of whom won't make it. Sterling on the other hand is a sure bet if he stays injury free.

Anyway, Stoke are interested in Shaqiri

Berardi, Jese and Marquinhos are all better than Sterling right now imo... and there are other guys on that list who are more talented but haven't gotten a chance yet (the Barca kids). Munir wouldn't have gotten called up to Spain NT if he wasn't great especially in the position he plays.

i think Spain called him up just so they could lock him in for good in case he turns out to be special and avoid losing him to Morocco .

France should learn from them imo.

Munir is not even on the same planet as Sterling

Dunno why Munir is being mentioned, he has potential for sure but we've seen enough of him this season to know he's nowhere near Sterling.

The discussion/debate/comparison between Sahq & Raheem is really unnecessary. We need a striker, a proven goal-scorer.

We only have friendlies... friendlies don't tie anyone down. It wouldn't make a difference. Spain called them up for Euro qualifying, which does tie them down.

Sterling was the best player during the title run-in (11 game winning streak) when Suarez/Sturridge were playing and Gerrard was on top form.

He just turned 20 two weeks ago. Shame the mismanagement and bad decisions of the last 6 months has made everyone forgot what an unbelievably good side we were last season.
