Consider me impressed.

That Lazio qualifier wasn't an easy tie at all, especially with a CB crisis.

Well done. Last seasons CL campaign was impressive already, holding their own against Atletico.

How many trophies has he won? that's how we judge managers imo.

With Neverkusen he'll never win a trophy of course. It's an impressive achievement to get a squad as unimpressive as Leverkusen's too be so consistent.

Don't call me James wrote:Pep's replacement? hmm
Nah. Too much fight, too little flair for us. Pep should renew.

Then Carlo, then Kloppo, then Tuchel.

Not taking them seriously unless someone opens up a "Leverkusen quietly assembling a great team" thread.

Newcastle net spent 65m € this window, more than Manchester United and Bayern München put together.

If the McLacticos don't make top 6 and win a cup it will be a failure.

In fact, the ranking of net spenders in Europe so far this summer is:

1. Milan
2. Real Madrid
3. PSG
4. Man City
5. NEWCASTLE

Bore off lol, we spent less than we sold for over a decade lol.

This is the least i should expect, considering we would have gone down otherwise and because the club can actually spend this amount every summer with no issues.

If you think i'm going to be happy after one summer of bare minimum investment after 8 years of shit you are sorely mistaken.

So did Leverkusen.

You see their fans complaining?

No - they're celebrating CL participation. Thanks to Roger Schmid, among others.

That's what the McLacticos should reach too, else you're a failure.

I doubt Leverkusen had 100s of million in the bank just sitting there every year because their owner is a twat.

But carry on, no point explaining facts to the ignorant.

But honestly i can't be arsed delaying the thread any further.

http://ashleyout.com/

Everything is there lol and you should quickly realise why one summer of average investment isn't going to change it.

Go back to discussing Schmidt and Leverkusen pls.

Sacked after losing 6-2 to BVB, 4-2 at home to Atletico in the lCL last 16, and having Leverkusen on 9th place in BuLi after 23 games.

Not as bad as your Fabregas comment but it's still quite worrying.
