Yeah apparently we want Gusavo which makes zero sense because Kroos will take over his position and he is totally different from Alonso in playing style. it just doesn't make any sense. In the Bayern PK where Mehdi Benatia is unveiled, they just said that Xabi Alonso is in Munich today for the medical and the player has already agreed terms, but Bayern are still haggling talking with Real. Bayern don't want to loan him, but really buy him. Looks like they want to give him a 2 year contract.

Xabi is actually a very good player and still has it to play at the highest level. Little slow on the turn but if you surround him by tiki taka players he would do great because he wouldn't be forced to run side to side to cover for the incompetent forwards

I read somewhere that we haven't replaced Pardez as our sporting director. So basically Perez is in charge of our team, which explains why our last summer's buys were alot more logical than this summer's

You simply don't walk through a CL final lol. Only the best/hardest to beat team reach it and that's why they are always so close save for Barca vs United

We finished level on points with the second team in LaLiga and did not have the depth to survive the last 3/4 games. Jese and Khedira long term injured, Ronaldo/Bale getting injured during the last couple of games and then DiMaria and Modric joining them. We basically played players out of position to manage. Which makes this summer even worse because if we didn't have enough depth last sumner we barely have players to fill the bench this summer
