Oh my god this is gonna affect me greatly. Absolute hero of mine, some of my favorite movies he's been in.

May his soul rest in peace. Has been a model of excellence throughout his comedian and film career. Tragic.

Seriously man.. If this is a suicide.. It's so tragic and ironic at the same time. The best film-comedian ever dies of something related to depression Guess it could happen to everyone.
Anyone who hasn't watched this man's work, should watch it, and let his spirit live on forever... Can't get over this, haven't been hit by a death this greatly since Ledger... Like McAgger, he was a hero of mine, and a big part of my childhood growing up.

one of the funniest men of our generation, so many memories of his movies growing up obviously Mrs. Doubtfire is at the top.

I loved his films growing up and even the more mature ones I saw as I grew older like goodwill hunting was fantastic.

If it's suicide then something I have always thought becomes confirmed, that his comedic talent was a mask for his real life sorrows.

So sad, one of the few people I have watched who could make you laugh and cry in a matter of moments.

RIP I will watch some of his greatest work in celebration of his life.

One of the most touching films I have ever seen. And in my opinion his greatest work. The man was able to move entire generations with his dramatic aswell as his comedic prowess.

Good Will Hunting was made into the masterpiece it is by Robin Williams greatness. And IMO it's probably one of the greatest films of all time. It's going to take a while to get over this

My favorite film of his is actually one of his worst: Hook.

this scene is giving me chills even now

I saw Dead Poets Society very recently and OH MY GOD did that movie take my soul and elevate it.

Cry like a baby every time

celebrity deaths usually don't bother this much, he was truely a staple of my child hood and the fact I am feeling truely saddened by this news shows what his performances meant to me.
