Robin van Persie
Wenger has 7 days to make him happy or he will be gone, I really believe he has had enouph and yesterday just made things worse. Will Wenger ever learn his lesson if you don't buy Quality players we will keep losing our best players year after year.
If he leaves no one can blame him, he deserves to play with the best and he is surrounded by useless players who put him down game after game.

Couldn't care less if it was against... Wolves for example, but United? Dissapointing. :(

I agree I jumped I was sure he was going to score.
Need a new signing. We simply have to sign a class player in next 7 days.
It just pisses me off knowing we could spend the money we got for Nasri on Hazard and buy him, but no we are waiting for Injured players to come back.
RVP is looking for help and when he was getting help, Wenger makes a stupid decision and takes the kid off.
RVP wants to stay at Arsenal and only Wenger can make it happen bring some players to help him out, that just show how bad we are that a 18 year old kid was out performing everyone.

Re: Robin van Persie
He was poor in the last match and his all-round performances have not been good enough recently. Even Arshavin would have scored that goal he missed.
Let him leave, he's clearly not good enough for Arsenal.
Just look at his reaction to a player being subbed off. Absolutely shameful for a captain. Instead of lifting up the spirits and harrying everyone forward, he sulks and puts his hands on his head. He is the cause of our lack of ambition and success

Re: Robin van Persie
its been a while since i posted. there is so much criticism in the press about wenger. all he needs to do is keep up his hard work. the team has evolved so much had it not been for injuries arsenal would be winning. its justified if he doesn't buy anyone. where do we play them when all the first team players come back. a loan signing would be good. but their are not many good players on loan right now. I wish santos and sagna come back as soon as possible.

Re: Robin van Persie
he has been (not as good) recently simply because he is not on full form. you cant be all guns blazing throughout the whole season. its a ridicules claim to suggest selling your top goal scorer and best player. we are not going to find a replacement for someone like him. im sure he will stay if Wenger buy's and shows intent in the transfer market.

So it's fine for RVP to drop some form, but other players deserve to be banned from the club because of that same thing?
Interesting

rvp is our top scorer, best player. he deserves it, if you haven't done anything all season why should we have sympathy for a player? if he hasnt done shit? i dont know who your are trying to refer to? why dont you share the name? and ill tell you why he doesn't deserve sympathy.

Re: Robin van Persie
Thats right get rid of your best player and buy some reject and make the board happy.
Lol he has not been playing well? he has scored 2 goals what else you want from him?
He is surrounded by useless players who show no heart and are outplayed buy unknown players.
Maybe if Wenger was not so stubborn and cheap we would have some quality players to play with RVP. Year after year we hear the same bullshit wait for injured players to come back.
If it was not for RVP Wenger would have been gone from Arsenal this season, we would have been in the bottom 3 struggling to get out of relegation zone.

Re: Robin van Persie
i have to admit it was a pathetic response from van persie, not captain material in all honesty, id rather verm as captain now. generally speaking though, i thought rvp would be a good captain but he is not vocal enough, for the team that we have, we need a vocal captain maybe verm should be captain next season. if rvp leaves

man you are like Wengiehead Numero Uno on here..
Wneger made a bad decision and RVP is the skipper he knows this, if you played team football you would know that ITS TOTALLY NORMAL for the captain to question the coach

are you actually being serious? no seriously?
if RvP was to leave we would be a mid table team without a doubt, we cant even rest the man ffs even though he is/was injury prone cos no one else actually scores f'n goals
and lmao @ criticising his all round play what do you want from him, he cant assist himself cos his "assists" to other players are flying into the stands or skewed wide ala Theo Walcott
he struggling to get into games as of recent because the players behind him cant even keep the ball
wtf do you expect from a man when Ramsey is doing stupid flicks and backheels to no one in midfield and taking 5 or 6 more touches than he needs
or Theo who cant even cross a football or make a through ball or beat a man or even use his pace to good use anymore
the man is surrounded by dross....get real

Re: Robin van Persie
RVP has confirmed there is no conflict between him and Wenger, but his reaction to AOC substitution isn't promising

I doubt there is any conflict and yes RVP should have acted the way he did. I think he did it cus of frustrated, he is not getting any help and Wenger does not see the need of help for RVP because we played good in the second half.
RVP WC player week in week out he has been our main man, I am sure he has spoken with Wenger to bring in players but, talking to Wenger is like talking to the wall.

Re: Robin van Persie
No one should read into this too much. Evidently he was annoyed at the sub and frustrated, but I don't think it's anything more than that.
If he were doing that every week, I'd be more concerned. But this is the first time he's ever shown outright dissent to one of Wenger's decisions, and it was probably more heat of the moment than some sort of deep-rooted issue he has with the way Wenger does things.
It's actually quite unprofessional for the club captain. He can be frustrated all he wants but what are the players going to think seeing that? It's not a great example to set. He should've kept quiet and encouraged Arshavin, who got none from the crowd when he entered the game.
