Why did Mascherano sign a new contract again? He's not going to start over Busquets, so might as well leave for a top club and start at DM.

Mascherano is starting centerback at barcelona. Your little forum theories about how he is going on the bench dont mean anything to him lol

But they'll do it, Its City we are talking about if a top quality CF is on the market they will try and make it happen.

They are not gonna say "no thanks we have Dzeko, Jovetic and Negredo" like a normal club probably would.

They just spent 40m on Mangala and 15m on Fernando and now ,they just have 5m left due to FFP restrictions.

Assuming Cavani costs 60-70m,they would need to generate some serious cash from sales for this move to be possible.

Thank god someone is wide awake and not getting caught up in total transfer muppetry.

I'd assume if they had already slammed the door shut on enquiries for both Negredo and Jovetic then there is just about zero interest in anyone else.

Besides who the hell is on £300K a week at City. That's Rooney money.

isn't Yaya pretty close? like 260k or 280k?

Can't really see him starting over Pique. Plus they're trying to sign a new CB.

but what you can or cant see doesnt matter to his reality. Mascherano is still going to be a massive part of the club and will continue starting countless of games for them. Him getting that extension is proof of how much they value him

We always go for the overpriced players jeez

I can see Vidal going to United tbh especially if Juve change their formation to 4-3-3. There will only be two spots and three players competing for them. Marchisio is a player coaches love, Pogba is young and has a bright future ahead of him, so one has to leave.

@Nick, reliable news outlets are picking up on the DiMaria rumours, don't think it's nonsense anymore. But I hope it's a case of both the club and mendes playing political war by leaking rumours just to sort out the contract situation. Mendes is a pain in the ass and I hope all our players who have him as their agent kick him. Sick and tired of him creating trouble in our team

There are rumours we might go for Origi when Morata leaves, it fits the profile Carlo was talking about and for 12 ME it might not be so bad especially if he ends up taking the starting position in a few years

Arsenal ffs, finally doing business and actually assembling a very good team. Khedira behind Ozil is a very good idea because they have played together before so Khedira knows he won't get defensive help and can properly cover for him. Not sure Ramsey-Khedira pivot will work though

i know hala, but dont mind me if i still have that air of disbelief. the last frontier is Cadena Ser and Di Marzio i guess. And to be fair when Felix Diaz writes that Barca have told monaco they will pay 90 millions for him next year, how do you want me to believe him? He is a nice journalist with infos, but he also gets some stupid infos

Origi is a Di Marzio story, but he has Dortmund, Spurs, and pool after him. Pool the longest follower. He is not good enough to play back up to benzema tho

Meh, we still need another 4 minimum. There's not much fantastic about it tbh. All we have done is replaced sold players.

Plus then there's the idiot who coaches them, forgive me if i'm not totally excited.

Bayern Munich are insisting that Switzerland playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri will not be sold following an impressive World Cup campaign.

The 22-year-old has been linked with several top clubs around Europe in the wake of his performances in Brazil, which included grabbing all three goals in the 3-0 win over Honduras.

Prior to the World Cup, Shaqiri said that leaving the German champions for a Premier League club in England “was an option”.

Signed from Basle in 2012, he has started only 23 games in the Bundesliga and has rarely featured in the UEFA Champions League given the strong competition for places at the Allianz Arena.

However Matthias Sammer, Bayern’s sporting director, is adamant that the midfielder will play a big role in the club’s plans.

“Xherdan is an important player for the future,” the former Germany international told Kicker. “We are not going to sell."

Why would any team pay that much money and salary for Cavani ?

The lad is garbage and always bottles it when it matters. Will be really happy if Arsenal spend their load on him. I don't think he'd do anything, that Giroud doesn't already.

You really need to watch Cavani for Napoli, not his fault he plays out wide for PSG.

Not really bothered what he does for Uruguay as many better players have struggled for their country.

If you can afford him then its a no brainer.

yeah I wouldn't want Cavani at Pool. Not for that sort of money on wages and fee. Don't think he'd play well with Sturridge either.

If Reus' clause can be activated at €35m(£28m) next summer, can't anyone entice Dortmund this summer for a much higher fee. Say £40-50m?

As i said yesterday McAgger, Barca tried to get Reus earlier in the summer and they completely blanked them.... wouldn't even talk to them.

I don't think they are interested in listening to offers having already lost Lewa.
