But they'll do it, Its City we are talking about if a top quality CF is on the market they will try and make it happen.

They are not gonna say "no thanks we have Dzeko, Jovetic and Negredo" like a normal club probably would.

You're right.He's paid crazy there,10m euros net salary is huge.Yeah and i dont think Arsenal will break their wage structure even if they can afford it.

I reckon likelihood in this order:

It's funny how people assume we have money, just because we signed Özil and Sanchez in a year. We are far behind in the money making business and emerging from our debts. We have some new deals which let us spend about 50m more a year on transfers (not including associated wages). (We used to have about 20m without selling players earlier). So that's a transfer kitty of 70m. (Not including wages and not including cash reserves which have to be held against the stadium mortgage, etc.).

We already spent a part of that on Sanchez (and Debuchy). We are apparently in for Khedira as well (~25m), need a 3rd/4th choice Cb depending on Vermaelen and a back-up GK (say 3m if we indeed sign Ospina).

Thats 30+10+(25)+(10)+(3) = 78m. (All figures in GBP)

We are definitely not as rich as suddenly people think we are. We apparently signed Sanchez to also rotate him with Giroud, not as an out and out winger.

Cavani at 60m and 300k p/w. Yeah right.

A deal to sign Atletico Madrid's Manquillo is close for Arsenal and it would be on season long loan, according to Sky Sports.

I'd assume if they had already slammed the door shut on enquiries for both Negredo and Jovetic then there is just about zero interest in anyone else.
